Employment Reference Letter

hi friends..I have one question in my case regarding the statutory declaration:

My case is as:
- my employer only gave me a reference letter with only my designation, joining date, number of hours per week mentioned
- nothing else is specified in above letter like salary, job roles and responsibilites etc
- I got the HR denial email as well where its simply denied to any other letter apart from above details
- I requested my manager and he checked with HR and legal department to check the feasibility of him issuing me a statutory declaration and his business card.
- he was told that he can personally issue one but he MUST not mention his designation, email id or any reference to Company's internal details like department names etc and he MUST also NOT attach his business card with this.
- My manager gave me a stamped letter with his name, address, contact number and my roles and responsibilities but it does not has his email id, designation etc.

My question is that the declaration letter from manager without his designation will have any value?

I am planning to add the following to the application:
- employer reference letter with minimal details
- notarized declaration from my manager with only his name, address, contact number and my roles and responsibilities
- denial email from HR
- Salary slips for three months in the beginning and three latest ones
- Income tax deduction details(Form 16)

Will all the above details suffice for my case? Please provide inputs if I am missing any thing here? thanks

For SD, why u hv talked to your HR? The affidavit thing is personal n u dont need anyone's else permission for that. For SD your manager can give any detail which is correct in nature. Talk to your manager or any senior colleague one to one n get affidavit done.

Also, again it depends on visa officer case by case. He or she may consider but contact details of that person in case of SD should b there. You need to prove that person is/was employee of the company n ur supervisor. Dont take chances, better take time n prepare instead of getting rejecting n reapplying plus heartaches in bonus

Hi all, need your advice. I'm in process of getting job ref letters from 3 different companies. One of the companies I worked with few years back, terminated my employment as I couldn't serve the full 3 months notice period and I joined another company (so mine was absconding case). If I show job reference letter from this company (I worked here for 2 years), Will it create any problem in my visa application ? Or visa officer is just concerned with the experience and roles and responsibilities as per NOC and doesn't matter to him if candidate was terminated ? Pls advise

I feel it doesnt matter if u can get reference letter with required details. Termination wont be mentioned and it should not matter as well. Experience is experience after all.
OR
If u may want to skip this experience if points dont reduce.

Friends,

I need some advice on the employment reference letter from my current company. I managed to get the letter as described by CIC but the purpose of the letter states that its been 'issued for XYZ certification purpose'. Will that be a problem?.

I have informed my company that I am in need of this letter to avail a loan to pursue a certification and they issued it this way.

Kindly advice.[/QUOTE]

Hey, did you get the PR? I am in the same situation too now.

Please help!
