Who signed your LOE?
The letter I sent was written in English and signed by my boss. I don't know why that was an issue. Maybe because it was already in English.
Last October I sent a new letter from the company without request, this time in Portuguese, written by the head of HR, with an official translation.

Hello @legalfalcon, may you help me in this matter?
I have a study permit and during my initial study permit application process I provided my CV by an email request to the visa officer, since I had no experience with making a CV, I didn't include my job description and I just mentioned one of my job title in each company that I worked. Right now in my permanent residence application, I am providing the complete details about my works in personal history and work history. By considering my circumstances, I have the following question:
1. How important and critical is our previously provided information to CIC?
2. Is it possible that my work experience be rejected by officer and I am accused to misrepresentation?
1. Only in cases where there is a start contradiction, will IRCC review your previously provided information. As regards the CV, it is a constantly growing document, that you change with more experience you get.

2. No.

Thank you @legalfalcon

The 1st page of the screening request information is titled “SSRN” with client “CBSA” and status “completed”with request date of November 2017(same date my gcms and cbsa notes seem to indicate SS started) then several pages of my information (addresses, education etc.) and then several pges of activities all marked as Completed (manual review, automatic checks, etc) with the last activity shown being “response sent to client” on september 2018. The last page shows a table titled “recommendation/advice” and the results are redacted (is it normal to redact them?) and issued date september 2018. From what I understood is that it seems CSIS already sent their report to CBSA on September 2018. Is my interpretation accurate or just wishful thinking? :D
Yes, as per what you have stated, the recommendation from CSIS has been sent to CBSA. The recommendation is always redacted.

hi @legalfalcon

April 27 2018 AoR here.
BGC started/IP2 on 6th dec 2018
So I had ordered my GCMS in nov (which got delivered few days afted ip2) and this was there in the notes:

NOTES: 10

Text:
------------------------------------ Ml 3 A11.2: Review Required R75: FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Appears Met R76: SELECTION CRITERIA - FSW
POINTS/Funds: Review Required FSW points total: 70 RPRF: Complete

SETTLEMENT FUNDS: Review Required Family of 1 requires CAD $12 475 Approx. CAD $12443 - CAD $9769 as per G statement at 2018-04-18; - CAD $2674 statement at 2018-04-18; Officer, please review edoc 214971142

I never sent CSE for the RR for PoF btw. And i think the RR was because I showed majority of my funds in mutual funds but I also gave them surrender value of the investment.

Now in May 2018 my file was transferred from CIO to CPO who had it till around 22nd Jan 2019 when my file was again transferred to London, UK and even got ghost update on 22nd jan.
Also, ever since I am in ip2, the call centre agents told me I have passed eligibility. Now I am not sure if they mean pass or recommended pass. Though in my experience, agents have at times giving me contradicting info based on their mood probably (they went from eligibility pass to under review to pass in a matter of 3-4 days)
I also received email reply from Ottawa VO around 11th Jan 2019 where they told me my file was in a queue for review by officer.

My question is this:
Does the review for PoF take place before its sent to London or does it happen in London as well?
Does the fact that the file has been transferred to London along with ghost update mean the review for PoF is cleared and my PPR is close?

I have emailed Ottawa, London and even tried calling ircc since the ghost update but havent received any info.

Last update was criminality in progress, security not started and eligibility pass (as of around jan 15th)
The eligibility review happens in two stages. First a program assistant or analyst will review your documents and make a recommendation. This has been done and what you see above.

Now what has been flagged will be reviewed by an officer who will make a final determination. This can be at LVO, CPC, Or any other office. In most cases happens at the LVO.

Hi @legalfalcon,
Would appreciate your expertise

AOR- April 27th, 2018
MEP- may 4th, 2018
No update ever since.

I ordered my first set of GCMS notes on 10th August 2018. Unfortunately it got delayed and I received it only on 2nd December 2018 and it mentioned :

NOTES 1
Creaated Date: 2018/05/16

**11.2 AGENT REVIEW *** Lock-in Date: 2018-04-27_***********- EE FSW
Having analyzed this application based on the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the file, I make the following recommendation.
A11.2: Not Met PA does not appear to have one year of continuous work experience in primary NOC as insufficient evidence the PA performed the actions described in the lead statement and main duties.
-------------------------------

My application was missing a job roles and responsibilities letter from all of my employments (Since the format is not generic in this country) and my file has been put aside ever since then. Not even an ADR.
I obtained the roles and reps. documents and and submitted it through CSE form on 24th December 2018 (which was acknowledged on 26th December 2018). There are a couple of questions I have at the moment.
1) Since it says eligibility Not Met will my application be rejected?
2) Will the additional documents I submitted be attached on my application online? Because I do not see it on my profile and I'm not sure if it has been considered at all.
3) I see a couple of them who had the same problem. However, one month after they submitted the roles and resp. documents they got their PPR/IP2. Is there anything that I could possibly do for them to atleast start processing my application.

I have ordered for another set of GCMS notes on 12th January 2019.
I tried calling the IRCC and unable to get on the waiting list even after a million attempts. I raised a CSE form yesterday asking for the status.
Can you please suggest what I could do next?

Thank you
1. It will be determined after an officer reviews it.

2. Yes, Since you did not submit it through your MyCIC account, it will not be available in your MyCIC Account.

3. Each application is different and the circumstances are different.

Hi@legalfalcon

I got a COPR interview at my local office for me and my spouse and they asked me to bring valid docments such as passport, work permit etc. my and mine spouse work permit and TRV were expired in nov 2018, we did applied for extension but it got refused so currently we are in process of applying for restoration and renewal of permits and visa. Do we need valid work permit/TRV when we go for our interview?

Thanks for your help.

1. Only in cases where there is a start contradiction, will IRCC review your previously provided information. As regards the CV, it is a constantly growing document, that you change with more experience you get.

2. No.
Thank you so much it's reassuring.
1.Actually, in My CV, I mentioned just one job title for a job(*) (while I had different positions in that job, which I covered in personal history) that had been finished and I worked in another company by the time I uploaded my CV as ADR, so it was not my current job at that moment to assume I have gained more experience in that job from submission date till now. Therefore, is it acceptable for the officer?
*By the way I have this problem with my work in personal history and not the Work History, since I continued to work in my last job after visa request submission and I am claiming point for this job.

2.May I ask, what do you mean by "start contradiction"?

3.I have another question, can I edit my work experience(**) after ITA and before final submission? Or it's better to decline my ITA and edit my express entry profile and wait for the next draw!
**I have received my reference letter, but my job title is slightly different than what I entered in express entry profile (I entered "Mechanical Engineer" as my job title but it's "Mechanical Engineer and Site Manager" in my letter) and the working hours in a short period in my work was less than what I expected (still more than 30h), although my employer and start and end date at work are still the same.

Hi sir,

I need your guidance.

My last working day at work will be 28th February 2019.

My AoR is 6 Dec 2018. MEP is 16 Jan 2019.

Should I raise CSE regarding my last working day or should I wait till my last day ??

Moreover, I'm going to spend time with my family and visiting few places in my country. Should I mention this reason in that CSE ?

Could you please advice what I should do so that there won't be any problem along with things I should mention via CSE ??

Hi @legalfalcon, I need your valuable assistance here, today my EE profile got updated with CRS and eligible in CEC inland. I am completing my 1st year experience by 04-MARCH-2019, until then would be rejecting ITA, and will accept after 04-MARCH-2019 to meet MEC.

Now, in parallel, we are expecting a baby and delivery date may fall by end of March, i.e. anytime after 20-MARCH-2019. I haven't done upfront Medical, besides all other docs are ready.

I am pretty much preoccupied here, to understand:

  • Should I do upfront medical in coming week by deferring wife's X-Ray as she will not give X-Ray now but post-delivery?
  • Should I accept ITA after baby's birth (i.e. somewhere in APRIL-2019), and prior to that I will be declining ITAs.
  • If I accept ITA before newborn birth, then how would I be able to provide all documents of little one on time? once born, we have to go through baby registration, sin number, passport, and then will do his medicals, and wife's x-ray. I don't know how to plan and what would be the timeline.
Please advice, what would be best strategy and course of action here in my situation.

Thanks!

Yes, as per what you have stated, the recommendation from CSIS has been sent to CBSA. The recommendation is always redacted.
Yay! Finally they’re done - hopefully it won’t take too long now with CBSA.
If they sent me this however, I find it weird they asked for an extension on the csis notes though. I’ve heard many people being asked for an extension and they get ppr before the notes so at least I hope this ends positively asap; it’s been 20 months :(

Thanks for all the help! You’re amazing.

1. If the petition is in a language other than english or hindi, you will need to get a translation. The final submission will look like this:
- Certified copy of the original
- Translation of the original
- Affidavit of translation from the translator

2. See above

3. IRCC will simply remove your spouse from the application. On the COPR your marital status is not not mentioned. Only dependents are mentioned.
Dear Sir very urgent help required cic has asked the below 2 things
1. Please confirm your current martial status
2. Imm0008

What martial status I should mention, since in India term legal separation is not used( also in mutual case court does not grant judicial separation ) shall I use simply separated and mention in LOE about divorce, in case I mention status as married they will ask for divorce decree?

Kindly suggest what docs I need to provide.
