Yes! That's exactly the due date.

did you order another set of notes? thats the same phase as mine. Security not started (as of November 2018 )with a due date of March 19 though. So I ordered another set of notes which I expect sometime the 2nd or 3rd wk of february. Then we'll see any progress from there.

I'm planning to do that tomorrow, but I don't have too much hope for that. :( I heard the due date was just a reminder for the officer to check, and I'm not confident that the officer would be picking up my files let alone moving it forward though...

Good luck to you! Hope your security check would be moving forward and maybe even pass!

" heard the due date was just a reminder for the officer to check," thats true. But we'll see, who knows anything can happen. Since it was December of 2017 when CIC updated their processing time from 15-19 months which used to be just the straight number of months. We'll see and find out, if my security says passed then simply means decision made is next because everyting else is completed but security. I'm stuck in a terrible job thats why I'm so eager to leave. haha Anyhow, wer're almost there, finish line is just around the corner!

Hopefully that's the case! haha I'm just worried that when May comes by and I haven't got any news then I have to go through another medical.

Honestly, I do not understand a cause of your level of frustration. You still have 5 months to a official deadline. I don't understand why everybody rushing so much. We all are I Canada, all have work permits all live in provinces we've chosen for life. Just do not refresh CIC website every 5 minutes and enjoy your time :)
I totally agree with you.
That is why I am always saying that wait for 18-19 months.
I am a applicant on Jan 2018.
nothing worry about my processing.
relax and enjoy time until this Summer :)

Everyone Do not get any stress
just enjoy your time and good luck!

Yeah, you should order a new set of notes!
Have you had any ghost updates?

not trying to be rude, but are you in the right place? 'Provincial Nomination Program Immigration'
why are you stuck in a terrible job?
I've changed jobs twice while my PR application is in process. Unless you're a different scenario and your PR is tied up to your employer

Youre right, strictly to one employer. I can find for another employer with the same NOC yet i don't wanna go thru that route.

That timeline you gave would vary though, because last DEC 2017 where they have changed the processing time from 15-19mos where it used to be straight 19 months. No wonder why a lot off applicants were requested for MR's early. Like my case, file received on feb, aor on march, medical on june, pre arrival nov. As single applicant, now we will see if they're gonna follow that 1 yr validity of medical results. We'll see. My friend did her medical on May, so shes a couple of mos ahead of me. I'll use her timeline as basis.

Not all living in Canada,
We put our lives on hold... 2 years is long time to be in that state. The worst part is you can't really plan anything... Kids in schools etc...
