it depends on how cic processing the files in the queue... My friend changed to AR in May 1 and stayed at same office as me. Her status changed to IP at same day with me. She stayed in AR for 1.5months. for me is 2.5months.

which province are you ? if you are bc, then we are at same page... I stayed in local for 2 and half month before changing back to IP again.
