You are right ,it is not because my area is rural ,it is because no office here ,nothing here believe me Lol,so for me I called CIC and they confirmed me that ,they said we don’t have any office in that area , said we usually process the applications from your area 3-2 times per year, doing test and ceremony for one or 2 days ,they said because we don’t have office there ,( i am 18 hours driving by car to Toronto lol) ,the closest city to me is Thunderbay even there no office they said ,last year also had 2 applicants( my friends originally from Africa ) they live in small town close to me call Dryden, they did Test and ceremony within 2 days ,so the whole applications from my area process by this way ,i can give you link in Canadavisa form of this person to see his post when he got Test letter and Ceremony to be done 2 daysI think criteria is not being from rural area it is if the office processing ur app is bit farther from u they prefer making u travel for just a day. So depends where is that rural area u guyz talking abt and how far from office processing ur app
There are certain rural areas where they do that. so it is a possibilityGood morning all,
I have been going through the Forum and I saw someone saying that they live in a rural area and they will be getting citizenship test and ceremony in one day. My question is do all rural areas do citizenship test and ceremony in one day? Because I'm in a rural area of 3800 persons would I do citizenship test and ceremony in one day?
Yeah you are right,my town is located in valley between mountains, after the town no roads, they bring my patients by plane all the time from mountains. There are certain rural areas where they do that. so it is a possibility

Yes. You can track your application using this link once your receive your AOR and the link becomes active.Thank you. Since I saw some of the Nov applications got their AOR and I still haven't I was getting worried. Because mine was received Nov 9th. Also what is ECAS, is this the link for it? https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do
So I can track my application here? Can you please clarify? Thank you
