Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

Hi Guys,

I have been a silent reader of the forum.
Here is my timeline for pgp 2018
AOR:Sep 21 2018
Sponsorship Application Status: in process Nov 29th
Today i noticed it says decision made for the sponsor but when I click on it it still says we started processing on 29th.

PR status is still in process.

Does this mean Sponsor application is approved?

Please add me to the speadsheet as well.

Here is what is says on mycic account for my father:

I wish I can insert a PGP processing flow chart in the spreadsheet, although spreadsheet columns are already divided by process. People don't look at the whole SS. Could you add me to the SS editor list, Yulia? I'd like to try.

So I started on on filling out the application as who knows what will happen, just wanted to make sure I am ready if invited.
Does anyone have exprience regarding parents signature? I was wondering if if parents could sign and scan everything and send back, rather than having them physically send papers back by courier.



Signatures
In this section, the sponsor must sign and date the application form or it will be returned.

The spouse or common-law partner (if co-signer), must also sign and date the application or it will be returned.

The sponsored person (principal applicant), must also sign and date the application or it will be returned.

I got procedural fairness in november 2018. They ask about my mother Pcc and travel information form. I got selected in second draw in 2017 for pgp. Anybody got the same procedural fainess letter? Please advise

What's the reason for the letter?
Such letter is sent when they want reject the application, they explain their concerns and give you time to respond.
If you were approved as a sponsor and then your mother was just asked to provide pcc and travel form, this is absolutely normal.

if you submitted application for your parents, could you please advise if they need to fill out their own set of forms?
for 2 parents, fee will be 1040x 2...so I am guessing they need to submit their own application? Please help if you have experience. Thanks

Sorry to hear that buddy. Have you received AOR or SA yet? What I’m trying to determine is whether you have an application number. If you have application number already, then use IRCC web form to report any changes in the application. If you still haven’t got one, check out the spreadsheet. In the tab called “other links” (I think) on the spreadsheet, there are several emails to contact CIC.

PGP-2019
My brother successfully submitted Interest to sponsor form at 12:04pm on 28-01-2019 and got the confirmation number e-mail at 12:44pm. Hope his application will be in 20K and not in 20-27K.
Our parents are in India. In case my brother gets the invitation to submit complete application, can he ask parents to sign, scan and send their set of documents to my brother in Canada for submission to IRCC? Thanks.
