2018 POST AOR PAPER BASED APPLICANTS - WAITING FOR MEDICAL

been waiting for everyone here under January - February 2018 AOR to receive MR anytime this week. =)

remember, once we have the MR, it will only take few months or even weeks for the PR..

is your AOR between JAN and FEB ? and NOT receiving MR ??? Me too. My timeline is shown in the signature below.

yeah, my AOR is Jan 16, 2018.. waiting for MR..

i saw from others that in some cases, it takes a year to receive MR. so i was kind of hopeful to receive it anytime this week or months.

Why it takes so long...!

Processing is taking longer now. Maybe it is due to the higher number of intakes. I learned from another source that even some EE applicants have gone beyond 6 months. Another applicant received her MR 16 months after AOR. It is not surprising because the increased number just added up to the backlog.

These are just observations. It may not apply to all. Trends change and sometimes, it's not all that bad. Daris shared that there are some who already got their MR. Waiting is really hard but we are just a few leaps away. Hang on!

Recently, they announced their targetted Permanent residents for the year 2019 onwards. Soooo, err..

Basically, we should be counted in their projections and maybe, right now they are working to expedite their backlogs.

Can anyone suggest that do I need biometrics as for INDIA biometrics started from 1/1/19 but I applied in October last year

In your case no need for bio metrics,and for medical u have to wait at least one year from AR

See if late mr candidates get ppr very fast , I that cases normally they get ppr with in 1 month
