Hello @legalfalcon,

I received my GCMS notes yesterday (AOR June 14th) and few things in it do stand out. Can you please help me with your expertise here?

1. On the first page, App Status is shown as “On Hold”, but “App Status Reason” is blank.

2. Second page ASSESSMENTS show-
Eligibility - Recommended Passed
Security - Not started
Criminality - Not Started
Other Reqs - Cancelled.

3. There is a section somewhere down the document (around page 62) that says “OTHER REQS”, which has a sub-section called “VERIFICATION”. This has a new entry from the day I had experienced a ghost update -
Type - Verification & Status - Cancelled.

4. Surprisingly, Analyst Notes towards the end of document has blank “Text” and “Label”.

What do the notes in the last 5-7 pages say?

The latest note has blank in “text”. As if the agent did not comment anything about the last activity that happened with my app.

I was in SS since 26 May'18. More than a week ago, I check with an IRCC call center agent that the security part is completed. They mentioned that the security was completed sometime in December. The application has not been approved yet.
From your knowledge how much time will it take from there on to :
1. Get the application approved
2. Receive the PPR request
Primary VO is Calgary, Secondary VO is Etobicoke

@legalfalcon could you please guide as when the application goes for migration officer review during case processing...
I got GCMS notes that state everything is okay but I recieved a reply for my email to local visa office that my file is in queue for migration Officer review...

Does 16(1)(c) pertain purely to law enforcement or can it be employment related verification?
Also, why does it show “Verification” as Cancelled in my GCMS notes? Any idea how long will this take?

When is an estimate time for an officer to start checking for eligibility after AOR?
and should i order for gcms notes now or call cic call center?

If the security is completed by both, CBSA and CSIS, it can take a few weeks.

Thanks for the reply.. What I understand the CBSA handles the SS and internally delegates to CSIS or other requisite agencies. Since the IRCC call center agent confirmed that the security is completed I believe that CBSA would have completed the entire SS process.

I ordered the first CBSA notes in Jul and received them in Aug, under the ACTIVITY section it was mentioned:

Hi @legalfalcon I called and spoke to cic today and they said my eligibility and criminality has been passed. However my account online doesn't reflect that about the criminality it says still in process. The agent also said that my first part background check has been completed and now my 2nd part is in process. What would the second part usually be? I am an october 2017 applicant and have never ordered gc ms notes till now. Would it be a good idea to order one now? Also my medicals were only valid till feb 2018 but I have not been asked to provide any medicals or any additional documents. Your help is greatly appreciated. thank you.

Hi at all the team, i am a provincial nominee, paper based, outland. They received my application on 1st november 2017, my aor is 7th January 2018, i got pre arrival services on 22nd of August 2018 and additional docs request. Until now there is no request for medicals, its been 15 months!!!! i have called several times but there was no issue, no informations, they just inform me that everything is ok and i have to wait because the proceessing time is 19 months. What is yours opinion? what i should do? do you think that i have to order gems notes?
