Hello everyone and thanks in advance for anyone willing to advise...

Can anyone give me exact wording of photo resubmission mailed letter (regular mail not email)?

Reason I ask is that I only now received a photo request for my son's card dated 21st December 2018 (!!!) ..I have already raised a CSE earlier this month and received an almost immiidate reply asking for the photos that I have sent..yet this letter comes later with a bit of confusing wording mentioning "my recent photo submission" and I'm not sure if they mean the original photos with application or resubmitted ones..

If anyone received this letter please share the wording... thanks

My advice don't wait because u have only 30 days starts from 21 Dec ....( I didn't receive this letter until now which was sent on 23 Nov!!! ) and I sent the photos according the instructions that came in the e-mail

I still suggest call ircc tom.. talk to them if its on ur file. They will forward a mail on ur registered email

Wow...sent in Nov and u received it in Jan?? Very strange...

I already sent the photos and should they should have received them Jan 9..so I'm well within their deadline

I still suggest call ircc tom.. talk to them if its on ur file. They will forward a mail on ur registered email

Even stranger! Could be due to the strike or maybe they send out these photo resubmission letters in batches? Could be the cause of the delays...God knows how they operate!

Anyway hang in there it's just the final step hopefully...

I got these instructions in the e-mail
Permanent resident card - Photo retake required

If you applied for a Permanent Resident card (PR card), or if you are waiting to receive your initial PR card, and the Case Processing Centre requires that you provide new photos, we invite you to:

• Send two photos according to the photo specifications, and
• Include:
  • if available, the letter/email received to that effect, or
  • an explanation letter (including your complete name, date of birth and UCI).

I got my and spouse's photo requests by email on 14 December and I sent the Photos via Xpress Post Canada to

However, I got tracking confirmation together with the recipient signature on 21 December. Do I need to worry as I haven't sent photos to

I just successfully linked my app to online account. status shows approved. I landed on Dec 08. but Date shown under submitted is Jan 18, 2019. When my card will arive?

ok.. its easy to guess.. check ur application and see issue date...and then add 1 day of dispatch and then go to canad apost type in sydney zip and ur zip and voilaaaaaaaa

My photo arrived there Oct 22nd, I'll update here if anything happens.....so far nothing..... 53 days and counting....

Landing: Sep 6th
Photo Request: Oct 17th
Photo Delivered: Oct 22nd
Ghost Update: Jan 21st
PR Card: Finally waiting !
