I am planning to move to Canada in Fall 2019. I am a dentist but I want to pursue health admin or biotechnology. I have applied in Ontario and British Columbia. I want to know which province should I apply where I can find good jobs in healthcare sector and also apply for PR.

Can you go there and study as you will probably need to get Canadian qualifications for dentistry. Btw Ontario and BC are the two most expensive provinces to live in.
Not sure what program you are taking to get into health admin but it is a hard field to break into. Lots of competition for biotech jobs as well. Many of the research labs and stuff often require a PhD to get the good jobs. There is a real large number of foreign dentists moving to Canada and most areas in Canada have too many dentists already. You should also be prepared that you may have to move to another city to secure a job. You seems to be targeting an area where there are tons of students trying to do something similar.
Hey, i have 2 family friends of mine who were dentists in their previous avatar (back in India). Upon landing in Canada, they completed a Master's in Bioinformatics from Dalhousie University resulting in well-paid jobs. Hope this helps to move the needle of anxiety.
Yes this is a good option. Many seem to go into the same programs like public health or do a college program in health administration. Try to find masters programs with good opportunities at the end.
Prudent decision- Analytics help land good jobs in Toronto. You can also obtain OSAP as well.
What I meant is he can apply for Analytics Master's in Ontario- not Dalhousie. I didn't know the OP is an international student- thanks for the clarification.
I don't want to pursue dentistry further but I want to work in any healthcare field. I have applied in FDU for Global Health and Human Services Administration, in University of Windsor for Biotechnology and in Confederation College for a PG diploma in Health Administration but getting a PR needs a 2 year Masters degree in any province. Ontario is even tough to get in.What's your interest in? Hope I can help you somehow- doing my 2nd Master's here now whilst working too
Would avoid FDU and the college program. They won't lead to great job opportunities.
It need not be 2 years in length actually- I see many students who opt for a 1.5 year course and get it done. Have you looked at Schulich's MBAN program? It's 12 months specialized in Analytics- however, you need a GMAT of 650 and above. Alternatively, you can try Smith School of Business (Toronto campus) which is another 12 months program- advantage is you can work whilst you learn and no GMAT. Ofcourse as a student either course you can only work upto 20 hours per week. The last option is UoT's MMA program which is 9 months in length- again, you need to have the GMAT.
