Hi Shahil

your explanation on obtaining PCC was remarkable.just clear few things

1. After receiving endorsement letter from VFS global,is it necessary to translate that letter.if such please guide the path.

2.After collecting PCC from police station, what is the process of translating it.

do reply because i am stuck in the middle of the process.

Regards
Akhilesh
I am sharing my knowledge and thoughts;

1. After receiving endorsement letter from VFS global,is it necessary to translate that letter.if such please guide the path.
"In KSA, you must present every letter/document for attestation in Arabic. If you received endorsement letter in English then it must translate in to Arabic language otherwise if it is originally in Arabic then no need to translate."
** Pakistan embassy provides these letters in Arabic that doesn't required translation.

2.After collecting PCC from police station, what is the process of translating it.
"Translation can be done from certified translation service provider."

Note#1: I advise to all KSA expatriates to translate the PCC then again go to MOFA and get attestation 1- on translated pages and 2- on original PCC.
Note#2: There is an affidavit on SINP website that we have filled for any translated document during SINP application process ( i m not going in detail), kindly complete this affidavit from the translator side and notarize. It is required for IRCC to show the translator ability for specific language. We should include this affidavit for any translation.

Thank you

I have a query...

I have already submitted my application and it has almost been 2 months but I am now very concerned about my Saudi Arabia PCC:-

Firstly they mentioned my place of birth wrong, instead of writing Saudi Arabia, they wrote Pakistan.

Secondly I got the PCC about 2 days earlier before leaving the country, the reason i did that was because Saudi Arabia doesnt provide PCC to non residents hence I had to make sure I get it while I was there. But I explained this in LOE and the reason behind why I got it early.

Thirdly, the PCC mentions that the requesting party for the PCC is Pakistan Embassy. Because as per the procedure I was told that I had to get a letter from my country's embassy, get the letter attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then take it to the Police Station and that is what I did.

Please will these things create an issue??? I am super worried now. Please help!

I have a doubt here........
I am living in Riyadh from last 1 year and I don't have IQAMA ID. I am on Business Visa (Work Visit Visa).
I called the Indian Embassy for the NOC and they told me that if I don't have any valid IQAMA, then no need for PCC.
Now I am confused whether I need to get PCC from Saudi or not?
Everywhere online, I could see the PCC for IQAMA holders. Kindly help in this regard.
Your help would be really appreciated!!

If you are not a citizen of Saudi Arabia
If you live in Saudi Arabia
Certificates are available only to current legal residents.

If you have current legal residence status in Saudi Arabia, follow the directions above for citizens of Saudi Arabia who live in Saudi Arabia.

If you do not have current legal residence status in Saudi Arabia, you are not required to provide a Saudi Arabian police certificate. If you are asked for a police certificate from Saudi Arabia, write: “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Saudi Arabia because certificates are only available to people who have current legal residence status.”

I want to share the experience in obtain the PCC in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as I was filing for pcc during the month of Feb 2018.

The procedure took me 2 working weeks. Better to go to these offices before 12 noon, as some of them remain closed afternoon. So plan accordingly.

I am an Indian, so I will be sharing regarding the documents needed. First of all, need to apply for “Letter of Endorsement” from Indian embassy, where VFS are authorized agents of Indian embassy.

Step 1: To get the Letter of Endorsement

1. Fill the form 2 (MISC Services) available on their website (http://in.vfsglobal.sa.com/applicationforms.html )

2. Passport copy front and back pages

3. Iqama copy

4. Passport size photo to stick on the application

5. SR 116 fees per application.

6. Go to the office (https://goo.gl/maps/FnDmEAKaNP52) during their working hours, go early to leave early.

7. At the counter, after payment of fees, they will give you the slip and will be asked to come after a week.

8. You will receive SMS from VFS regarding the status of your application. Normally, they say it will take 1 working week, but I got it in 2 days.

9. After receiving the SMS that you can collect the document, you should go to the same office between 3 pm to 5 pm, same principle (First In First Out)

Step 2: After receiving the letter, the next step is to get attested by MOFA Riyadh.

1. I was under the assumption that, we had to go early in the mooring around 5 am or 6 am to get the token, like the procedure which was 5 years back. Even though I went to the office at their working time around 8.30 am.

2. You can find MOFA Riyadh here (https://goo.gl/maps/UXmwuMu5ZGF2)

3. Before going to MOFA, you need to pay the fees of SR 30 for each application.

4. There is no need to translate your endorsement letter and no need to fill form in MOFA and no need pay SR 100 fees, as mentioned in different websites and blogs.

5. You can pay this fees here in mofa website (http://www.mofa.gov.sa/sites/mofaen/EServ/CitizenAndResidence/Attestation/Pages/FillForm.aspx). But I was not sure of the Arabic language and did not want to take a chance.

6. So, I went to the MOFA, there are some small office in front of MOFA , where they will pay the fee online on behalf of you and they charge SR 20 for each application.

7. They will give the print out receipt of this payment along with the barcode.

8. To my surprise there was no crowd in front of MOFA at all, because when I went a few years back to get attestation, there were literally around 100 – 120 people standing in queues and had to come back another day.

9. Before entering, you have to go through the scanner, just like the ones in the airport. Just to remove things from the pocket, no need to remove the belts or shoes.

10. Ask the guy sitting there in the office the token for attestation.

11. When your token is called, go to the counter and submit your endorsement letter along with the receipt of fee payment (SR 30) with the barcode.

12. He will scan the barcode and will put the stamp and seal on your endorsement letter.

13. To my pleasant surprise, this process was over within 15 minutes including car parking, fee payment and attestation.

14. It was a happy day for me, as if I had achieved something great. Actually it is..!! if you know the procedure back then.

Step 3: Going to Deerah Police Station for submitting endorsement letter

1. Need to go early to police station as early as possible, their working time during non-ramadan days are 8 am to 2.30 pm (https://goo.gl/maps/pZyi1Zuw5bQ2)

2. In the counter, you need to submit MOFA endorsed letter, Passport copy, iqama copy along with translated endorsed copy.

3. If you are applying for ladies i.e. wife or daughter, they have to come and submit their documents in Female section.

4. After receiving your documents, they will hand over a slip and advise the dates to collect your Police Certificate.

5. After getting this PCC, translate it again and follow Step 2

6. With the translated copy, your Police Clearance Certificate, is ready for its further journey.

Total costs

Yes it is a bit expensive, but what are the options.

1. SR 116 for endorsement letter (VFS India)

2. SR 30 for MOFA attestation

3. SR 30 Arabic translation

4. SR 50 taxi charges depending on your location

5. SR 30 for MOFA attestation

6. Totally, around SR 250 per document.
Really exactly you have explained ,its very correct

Hello,

Take the original for any Certified translator service. If you based in Riyadh then follow the link below;
https://goo.gl/maps/WJFQsLDAjgx
If you based in Jeddah then you can find translation service in this link;
https://goo.gl/maps/zPaetXRGPAu

In Riyadh, MOFA and Chamber are available in the same place.
Follow this link, https://goo.gl/maps/VpiCDhj7pD32
At the first floor get the attested translation from Chamber then at ground floor go to MOFA. Maybe MOFA needs to go first to get the Chamber attestation. It means you need to attest the PCC translation from the Chamber of Commerce (COC) by 25 SAR, then go to MOFA.

Before going to MOFA, pay the online MOFA attestation fees via online payment system, charges 30SR if you go to any service agent he charges 50SR.
https://www.mofa.gov.sa/sites/mofaen/EServ/ServiceCatalog/Pages/serviceDetails.aspx?svc=128

Press "start the service" and follow the instruction for attestation. This will provide you a MOFA code number, add this no. in your Saddad payment and complete the payment.

Take the printout of the code number, MOFA confirms the payment for the respective payment code number and you get the attested PCC translation hand to hand.

COC/MOFA attest only Certificate page provided by the translator, so there should be a total of three pages. 1- Certificate of Translator, 2- Orginal PCC, 3- PCC Translation.

Good Luck

Hello,
When you translate the original PCC, the translator adds his certificate in front of the original, including this certificate there are THREE pages.
1- Original PCC
2- Translator certificate
3- PCC translation

You must be attached the translator certificate otherwise MOFA and Chamber will not accept the translation.

Thank you

You first go to your home embassy and ask them for a letter to get the Police Clearance Certificate from Riyadh, Dammam or Jeddah Police station as per your current city. They may ask you to provide a reason then you can show the details.

Take this letter to the available city police station and follow their process. They need recent 2 x photographs, ID copy and passport copy.

Translate the original PCC, the translator adds his certificate in front of the original, including this certificate there are THREE pages.
1- Original PCC
2- Translator certificate
3- PCC translation

Hi. Do I need to pay for each 3pages for the attestation? Or is it considered as one document?

Thanks.

No, only charge for one document. 1 Document = these 3 pages. Max 40.00 SAR
