First blood pressure came up to 160/95, which is weird.
Next day, it was 125/79 which was perfectly normal.

Hence, my doc mentioned the first bp as 160/95 and the repeat bp as 125/79.

Is it an unnecessary cause for concern? Thanks!
IRCC usually requests for a Cardio report in some of these cases.

Our agents tried to do the same thing with me, however as a lawyer, I asked them for the contract where it says I cannot access my own account and told them that I cannot trust them with my information. They have my passport, bank account number etc. so they can't really withhold this information from me.
They eventually just sent the details to me.

Also, after the entire process, I realised you can easily do this on your own. The application process is fairly simple.
Take an informed decision though. This forum or I cannot take this decision for you or our responsible for your application, so you will need to take this decision keeping your future in mind.
I too read the contract, and in fact, I still have the copy in my drawer. I asked them over the phone, but I didn't insist like you. I decided to stay with them, may be after AOR, I will force them to share the log-in details with me.

You are right. It is quite simple and in any case the applicant gathers the documents. They just put together and submit!

I hope people soon realize consultants are of no use and the Express Entry system has been designed in a way so everyone can file their own application.

I did my own. Being in control and seeing the status directly the whole time was great. I don't know why anyone would need an attorney or consultant for Express Entry.

Exactly my point. I would find it even more cumbersome to explain my circumstances and then the documents to anyone, why don’t I put even 10% of that effort and type these forms myself.

The problem is people realize this after already signing and paying the consultant. Like my case. I got to know the bits and even found this forum after already being in contact with the consultant.

To be fair, it is not all bad. At least, mine are responsible and professional people. So far, they have handled my case very well. Minus the annoyance of not having direct access to my EE (which I will insist on them once I get the AOR), everything else is great so far with them.

The most important thing is to get to Canada. If you had asked me to pay $2000 two years ago and you will help me to Canada, I would not hesitate. Money is not an issue. The destination is the dream.

Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.

Dec 1 AOR. No email, but I checked the EE portal. And I'd checked like an hour ago and it wasn't updated.

We are American. :) Native speakers all my life, and unlike most here, it's the only language I speak. :( I got all 9's though. She got three 9's and one 8.

Edit: I should say, I didn't just show up at IELTS unprepared. I prepared for 2 months with various IELTS books and online audio. I wrote exactly the way the IELTS wants you to write. Beginning paragraph, paragraphs to support, conclusion, etc. I learned how they want you to write and I wrote that way.

I studied lists of speaking topics that were asked most recently from online blogs that cover IELTS so I could have an idea in my head of my general answer, that way I would have more time to write notes about points I wanted to talk about extemporaneously.

The listening and reading were easiest, as a native speaker. However, all my prep work had audio that was wayyyyyyyyyyyy slower. I was shocked when the audio was about twice as fast as what I prepared with, but I had no issues understanding.

Reading was super easy. I finished and went to the bathroom with someone who accompanied me, and came back and still sat around doing nothing staring at the clock.
