Here's the final timeline. My application was processed within 2 weeks under Global Skills Strategy (GSS). Hopefully this helps someone.

May 03, 2018 - Application filed online by attorneys
May 15, 2018 - Attorneys received request to submit passport
May 17, 2018 - Attorneys notified me to submit passport
May 23, 2018 - Passport submitted at embassy
May 28, 2018 - Stamped passport ready for collection

Did you apply lmia exempt work permit application you mentioned as well Aug 10 me as well Aug 14. For workpermit I ve heard there is backlog going on in my current country is 10weeks now which country your residing now?

My Collegue got his ICT visa in 2 weeks and I got it for 3 weeks. In a month we are good to fly to Canada.

My ICT visa application(paper application) was submitted on 8th of October 2018 to New Delhi VFS for visa processing, its approximately 2 months now, does it take this long? my passport is also submitted cant travel anywhere now, work is getting hamper too. Can anyone through some light on the current timelines for the visa processing?

i saw on the canadian site that processing time in India is 16 weeks.
On the other hand, my company visa processing person said, minimum 10 weeks now.

Got the WP stamped passport today.

Approval and stamping date - 12 Dec.
the visa was given upto the end date requested in the application
