Not sure if this is the most suitable place to post this, feel free to move if you wish.

I applied for an adult legal name change in Ontario and it was received on Dec 17th.
Just wondering if there is anyone going through the same process and share their timeline.

Thanks

Six to eight weeks are the normal processing times. In my case, I received my certificate in 6 weeks.

Not for me. They sent my application back twice now! because they want to see record of landing when I am sending them my COPR IMM 5292. I came in 2004 to Canada and they stopped giving out record of landing in 2002, somehow they don't know that and keep sending my application back.

Try attaching a letter of explanation stating that you dont have record of landing and that you are sending COPR IMM 5292 instead.
