After I submit my eAPR, I anticipate some travel. If CIC needs clarification or more documents and reaches out to me when I am out of city, how long do I have to reply? Is there a standard time period they expect you to get back to them? I am wondering if I should stay put in the city for six months or until a decision is made.

usually its 14 days from date of email by when they expect you to respond with the required information. however if you are traveling, ensure you always check your emails and you can raise a CSE asking for an extension. It has no negative impact except for maybe a slight delay in processing. really depends on your duration of travel. i did about weeks vacation with no harm
