So for the test kindly confirm if i just need to take passports, PR card, drivers license, language proof and the invitation letter. Is there anything else i need to take from the original application? i am guessing we don't need physical presence calculator or forms. Right?

I think all our processing offices are the same. I am from downtown Toronto. My test location is in scarborough town center.

You have to take your health Card also.

Yes - that's it! You don't need to take anything else from the original package.
Also take a print out of the invitation letter of the test.

Anyone in here from Calgary who got oath invitation? I wrote test on November 27 and ECAS status changed to DM ON 28 of November but nothing after

It took a month to get the email, but the date showed in ECAS about two days after the test.

Congratulations! please advise me about parking when I go for my test. How is parking? Is it better to drive or transit?

My home country passport will expire in 6 months, and I need to go to US often which requires passport valid at least 6 months, so I have to renew my home country passport and do everything again.

I called countless times, they just said: oh it is in process, oh you need to wait for one year and call us back if there is no test yet.

For your question, if you are not leaving Canada, you dont need to renew your PR card. BUT, if I were you, I would still do so, just in case GOD knows how long this damn "in process" take, maybe a year? maybe 6 months?

Thanks Hmel. Appreciate your feedback. I agree with you. No one knows how long will it take and it's better to renew PR.

Guys, I have a question. IRCC received my application on May 25/18, sent the AOR on Aug 2nd & starting working on my app on Aug 16th 2018. I have not received anything since then. I am leaving Canada for two weeks starting next week.

Do you think I should call IRCC to inquire about my status as well to inform them about my absence for next two weeks? I will appreciate whatever advice you can provide.

You should Inquire about your application status But you don’t have to inform them about your trip. Even if you recieved test invite while abroad it’s going to be within 3-4weeks. I don’t think they will request FP after 6 month either.
