Hello all, guys i applied on 23 feb 2018, application received on 1 march 2018 .. i did my test on 1 aug 2018.. and got decision made ..
Actually i want to travel to my back home on 10 feb 2019 for 2 months to attend some weddings .. but the problem is i havnt received my oath yet.. i tried to talk to call centre one time but it didnt work.. they told me to write a letter to my local office but i didnt do it.. my local office is Scarbrough .. any sugesstion what to do? It will be appriciated .. thanks in Advance

we became Canadian citizens on Dec 20th, checked ECAS yesterday and status has changed to Complete. i wish all the best to each and everyone of you who are waiting for test invite or oath ceremony .

Hey I've just received my oath invite for Jan 10, 2019.. FYI, there was no communication since the status changed to DM on ECAS.. I believe the status will change one day after you receive the oath invite.. good luck!

Thanks bro, I got my oath invite for Jan 8th 2019. My first ever call to CIC contact centre took less than 5 mins to be answered. I called CIC on 17th Dec 2018 cuz it was over 12 months on Dec 14th 2018 for my application. You guys won't believe once I was done with my call with CIC centre, Surrey office called me within 15 mins to update me on my file.

Letter was the best option if you have already purchased the tickets you can attach and the invitation of the wedding ceremony in English like a invitation card copy in your name and explain your situation in the letter. hope you will get reply soon from them. give your contact number

After Surrey office asked me additional documents, ECAS changed to Decsion Made about a month ago, but I didn’t receive any oath confirmation so I called CIC. I wrote test on September 19th 2018.

I checked ecas today and it seems the notice for the re- scheduled oath invite was sent on December 19th. The new date is on Jan 08, 2019.

I did not receive the notice via email, so sent a case specific inquiry. If everything goes well, our file will be completed on Jan 08, 2019.

May i know hows your experience for resheduling the oath?.. what is the process?.. and how long they take to reshedule it?..

I passed the test February 12 , get 20/20 , week no 45 and still in process too. The advise is be patient. It is different from case to case . Some case get disicion made the day after the test and some after months .I follow up several times and nothing changed .

I applied for citizenship December 2017, 1st. Still waiting for test invitation. I called them before holidays. They said I need to give them more time. Any body in the same situation?
