2.We started processing xxxxxxxxxxx application on December 12, 2018.
3.We sent xxxxxxxxxxx medical instructions on November 6, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4.Medical results have been received.
5.We sent xxxxxxxx a letter on November 27, 2018. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Ah ok...I missed the second line. I went and checked my ecas. It is now showing as
"We started processing your application on December 17, 2018."

I need help to make some sense. We got two letters:

1. Sent to my wife - Nov 30 - saying:
"Dear (principal applicant's name):
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
Please be advised that your file will be transferred to the visa office in New Delhi. Should you require to contact that office..."

2. Sent to me - Dec 12 - saying:
"Dear Sir/Madame:
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of (wife's name here) and family (if applicable).
This message is being sent to confirm that the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to the visa office in New Delhi for furhter processing."

So, is the second one, indeed the AOR2?

Sadly no AOR2 as per my knowledge. It is nothing but a msg telling you that her file from now onwards will be dealt with by NDVO. And they will receive that file >>may not even inform you>>then after few weeks /months they will update "we are processing"

Any member in Canada got any updates or not? If NOT then I was right as I wrote , no updates till 1st week of JAN only my guess, keeping in mind Holidays season we Canadians going thru but you never know !

Our lead Officer has gone on 3 month's Stress Leave, and poor file is sitting on his table in Canada (JULY Applicant) There they are on STRESS here we most are in stress !!! LOL J A joke guys but it almost that situation. hahaa

after transfer to nvdo, how many days or months it took for bgc? i means when your bgc started and ended?

File was transferred to NDVO on Sept 7 and they started processing on Sept 18. As per gc key background check is still under process. Sometimes they don't update gc key or ecas but I got pre-arrival and DM so I believe its just a matter of updating it on the system

Not all updates are being done this Holiday season. We did not see many updates by Sydney this or last Tuesday

Got pre arrival on dec 4, no update after that, not even decision made yet. So worried why is it taking that long for decision made. This is even worse that having no update.
