Got DM on ECAS yesterday a week after getting Pre-Arrival message on Dec 12th. Application was transferred to NDVO on July 18th so took exactly 5 months before they responded (original application submitted in early May). This is the second time I am sponsoring someone, and both me and spouse are divorced. I didn't get interview call but had added quite alot of supporting information to application. Just waiting on PPR now.

aor-2 is when NVDO started processing on my file:)

I need help to make some sense. We got two letters:

1. Sent to my wife - Nov 30 - saying:
"Dear (principal applicant's name):
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
Please be advised that your file will be transferred to the visa office in New Delhi. Should you require to contact that office..."

2. Sent to me - Dec 12 - saying:
"Dear Sir/Madame:
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of (wife's name here) and family (if applicable).
This message is being sent to confirm that the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to the visa office in New Delhi for furhter processing."

So, is the second one, indeed the AOR2?
