September applicants just started getting acknowledgements today. You might have to give it a month or two from now at least untill you hear something from them.

Wow! My situation is the exact same! Our app was received on October 5th and he is from the UK. We are also living apart while we have to wait for this process. We have also not hear anything back. Many people throughout October are starting to receive AORs. So I am starting to get a bit worried. However, I guess there are still a lot to not have received anything yet.

Yup, I just did that now and successfully linked my GCKey account to our application.
My CAS tool is showing a status “Application Received “ for sponsorship and permanent resident Application .
In detail it says “ we received your application to sponsor “name of my spouse” on Dec xx 2018 “
That’s the same day Canada post delievered my package
Is it an AOR ? If so I think PA will get an email with Application number ?

I think AOR1 will be sent out as an email to the sponsor with the application and Client ID numbers. Unless you opted for mail instead.
My eCAS says "In Process". PA on my application didn't receive any emails so far.

No, not aor. It's just confirmation they recieved it. Right now, some sept and oct people are getting aors. It's very rare someone would get outland aor after 13 days. When you get aor it will say "processing" or "in process". Hope that helps. The wait for aor is not fun.
yeah true . but atleast they start processing it . Hope the AOR will be soon.

Hello everyone
Could someone share their experiance with me please. I had a police certificate which was sent along with my sponsorship application, it was received at the Sydney office in August but did not receive confirmation AOR until December 7th. The police certificate was issued in May 2018 but IRCC have sent me a message to request a police certificate why is this?
Surely it was still valid when they received the application in August?

I am already in Canada with a visitor record and cannot work etc but they have now asked me for my biometrics the letter states if I am already in Canada I must leave the country to do this
