Hey guys
Does anybody knows for outland do they send from Sydney to Missisauga visa office or to PA’ home visa office?

If I had of found this site earlier I may have chanced sending my own application however spent money on immigration specialist in Toronto. Hindsight is wonderful.

our immigration specialist in Toronto sent our application first week in Sept. we received notification for biometrics. paid the fee sent the receipt and we have not had word since. Reading other comments looks like the move from Ontario to Nova Scotia is not in our favour.

no, it's not. It is really a hit-and-miss situation.
Our application was received on Sep 4, still no AOR, although I see "in process" for sponsorship on ecas. Some people who have got AOR are way later than us. At the same time, some people from August (and even July) didn't get AOR1 yet.
Sigh!

Hi Sibnadian,
I don't understand why you don't have AOR but you know you are in "in process" for sponsorship. Did you link your application? how? Coz mind received on Sep5, but nothing so far. Thanks.

I checked on ecas.
And, all of sudden, ecas started showing "in process" last Wednesday.
If you have your UCI or the receipt number, you can also try checking on ecas.
I haven't received any emails either.
I was checking ecas every day..lol...for some three weeks.

And then we were also able to link the application on gckey using the applicant's country of birth and UCI.
Now know the application number as well (shown on the applicant's gckey).

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Where I can find the UCI?
Are you the sponsor?
And if so, are you a naturalized citizen or by birth?
In case of the former, you will need to look at your old immigration docs.
If by birth, you would not have one. So you can try the receipt number.

Hi, thanks for sharing. Csn u explain further about Ecas? And how to sign in? Many thanks submadian

Ecas is where you check the status of your application.
I always google "ecas cic" to land on their page:)
Then you choose one of the forms of ID from their drop down menu (so you must know either your UCI, receipt number etc), last name and date of birth.

Application Received: September 6
AOR1: Finally received today, but was able to link my account online last week.
PA: UK

Fingers crossed for it all to tick along smoothly now. Good luck, everyone!!
