A little late but I had to post this. We now have 75% completion for our founding members of the thread. @Rijo02 , @pathwaytofreedom and @smcan2014 .

Technically the 75% was already completed when I had posted the previous message on Nov 22 as @smcan2014 file was approved on Nov 20 and supposedly PPR email triggered which he never received.

Anyways congrats smcan once again!

waiting for you to get it, which I am sure will be pretty soon...........
Was out of the country .......came back today and mailed my passports using UPS

Then last ghost update on Dec 4 before I got PPR email on Dec 5.

Thank you for the response @Ryu1 . One more question if you don't mind. Did the 'Background Check' status change after 1st or 2nd ghost?

My AOR is June 18th.. Eligibility was 'Recommended Pass' in first week of July per GCMS notes. I got 1st ghost on Nov 29 in CIC account and an email ghost on Nov 30 saying application is updated. However, nothing changed in the CIC account. Still in IP1.

If you can share what changed in your CIC account after each of those 2 ghosts, it will be really helpful to us that are still waiting to understand the pattern (if any at all with Montreal ) .

I think try calling the cic number just to make sure your email is not stuck like smcan’s case. Your file I think may have been approved the day of second ghost.

Hi Cansha, there is no 2nd ghost to me yet. I think the "email" ghost I got on Nov 30 is for the ghost update I had in "CIC account" of Nov 29.

And yeah, I did call CIC last week and they said same stuff as usual.. In progress..

Passports got delivered today............ I was a little worried because they had asked me to send passports to a P.O Box address but thankfully UPS translated the P.O. Box to a physical address and it was signed for by a person

Did you call them to find out what is going on with your application?

Yeah, they just said same stuff .. Eligibility is being reviewed (it is 'Recommended Pass' on July 9th itself, but agents say ongoing until its marked 'met' i guess).. And they said Criminal and Security did not begin yet.

Of course.. Folks with in 3 months of AOR sent him repeated emails every single week. It's obvious he wont entertain anymore!

Yeah saw some people saying his office is not replying anymore. But didn't see anything "official" as such. In any case I'm not surprised really. It was unsustainable. It's a shame though because I was planning on writing to him if 6 months got over which seems like a possibility for me.

I saw the screenshot of the official response. It is a shame indeed .......... just another example of how extreme abuse can spoil something that was working for you.
