Huge CIC Delay on permit extension HELP

Hi applied around 23 May. My application is forwarded to edmonton as well. Do you know a reason its been forwarded? Did they contact you?

Did you receive any updates? Mine was transferred today to Edmonton.

Finally got approved yesterday for both my WP extension and my wife's SP extension. Application submitted on August 06, 2018. It took CIC about 126 days to approve our permits extension.

Congrats! Were you ever told from CIC during the process that your applications files were transferred to another local processing centre or anything like that?

Nope, not in anyway. The status of our applications (WP and SP) were updated to "We are reviewing your eligibility" yesterday after at around 12:00 PM CST and changed to approved same yesterday at around 7:55 PM CST.

I am really worried as my visa got expired on Nov 30 and my course is also getting finished by the end of December. I understand the wait can be distressing as I've been there myself. My old permit also expired on Nov 30 and I was on implied status for 12 days. That said, what you want to do right now is to keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. It's going to be well.

August 28th. Just got an email from CIC saying they transferred my file to office in Edmonton and that they will contact me with further instruction. I live in Vancouver. Not sure what that means or whether it will now take longer

I applied August 16 too nothing yet, I called cic they told me everything is done but it hasn't been printed yet, I don't know what that means!

How do u call to CIC, my SP ext was refused without giving me specific reasons.

I always get lucky anytime I called them, 1(888)-242-2100, when you call them use this options 2-1-1-0 it worked for me but it depends on the kind of application though.

I applied for study permit extensin, of which i was doing online courses so that i can finish the remaining courses since this is my last semester. My other question is that since I'm done with my studies now, when i want to apply for restoration should i register for courses so that i can get a letter of enrollment from the college that I have been studying as a full time student.

Can u explain more on these options 2-1-1-0 what do u mean exactly sorry for asking too much
