I my application was received on August 29th in Nova Scotia. Yesterday evening on Ecas system I see it says "in process". From your experience what does this mean? Thank you in advance.

Your application was received and wont be returned. You should get AOR shortly after.

Thank you for your reply, after getting AOR, will I get instructions in my email how to send my wife for fingerprints and medical exam?

Yes if she requires biometrics this will be requested. They will also request medicals once it's at the time they need it.

I don't know when because it depends on where your application will be processed but they will send you a mail or email when they need info.

if the PA has made me the sponsor, the rep for the pa ( unpaid- spouse rep) . does this mean we have no access to GCKEY???

It should be no problem as per agent it is between you and your spouse, I was told

What details did you put in identity type and number? And did u put PA's or sponsors name and DOB?

Checking the app continues till 11th hour thou I never heard of app being returned after AOR1, however they can ask 4 additional docs.

How long does it take from AOR to SA now?

I received AOR on Dec-3rd for the file which was sent on Aug-17th.
In your case, Did you tried to contact CIC customer service or just waited for your turn.....
