can anyone reply this query please!

What can be done if not get any reply from CIC after even 7 days for request of dependent VO change to local since we live in different countries( i am in Canada and she's in India).

can i send my passport alone to Ottawa with out my spouse's passport(as she's in India and waiting for VO change for her), or do i have to wait until get reply from CIC? or any other suggestions would be really appreciated
Dont waste the time of officers , why can't you be patient if your application does not cross 6 months be patients, they will do it's not only your application being processed, security screening depends on your location , if local authority from your locations takes time to respond it will take time . Dont be too edgy. They will do definitely.

Just called up CIC and was lucky enough to get connected to an agent. But the agent turned out to be an idiot and refused to divulge any details and was persistent that he can only read what is shown in the GC Key account and not provide any inside details. This was my last effort to check the application status. Now, I will contact them only after completion of 6 months.

Guys need your insights,
Just now called CIC and asked them regarding my application status, agent said background check going on and I enquired about the eligibility, the agent replied eligibility is recommended passed, what does this mean?

Wow a ray of sunshine here, you're the first person to say this. How did you know it had moved, and was it recommended passed or just review required?
Check these links where I explained it with more details... But basically I only knew about the review required when I received the GCMS notes. It was 'review required', and passed to 'met'. Apparently 'recommended pass / passed' is the next step after 'met'.

Thanks man. Is there a chance review required just means eligibility hasnt been started yet?
