you can ask ircc or a consultant about this. because she need everything with the updated results. but you can ask from others as well.Oh, we do have the PCC but it expired after my wife came to Canada. I have explained to them that why we are not able to get a new PCC. Do you think they would not accept the expired one? Even though she has been in Canada since it has expired.
@legalfalcon I think you much more qualified to help answer himHi,
I had recently submitted an application for my wife's PR (in-land) while she is here for a visit. The application was returned because we did not attach her birth certificate. Her visa expires on Dec 21, 2018, and I'm applying for an extension on Nov 30th, 2018.
1 - I will be submitting her application with the birth certificate on Nov 30th. At the same time, can I send the visa extension application, stating that my wife has the (in-land) application in process?
2 - There is a Form 5049 on the extension document checklist, is it still required if I am providing the marriage certificate?
3 - Her Police Certificate have expired 2 days before she entered Canada, I have provided an explanation in this regard and we were not able to get a new police certificate since she is not living in her home country at the moment, is that going to be a problem?
4- I'm applying for an extension, if I don't hear back before 21st, can my wife remain in Canada until we get the AOR or the extension, whichever comes first?
Please provide any assistance that can help us.
From my experiences, they still want photos and all that as proof. I believe it's in the document checklist to provide them, but maybe they changed the form since I applied? If you don't submit them abd they want them to prove the genuineness of the relationship, they send you a request letter for them.Hi Guys, if I get married in Canada, do I need to submit photographs and stuff of the ceremony? Or I can submit the marriage certificate only?
I'm submitting an application for her Criminal Record Check here in our hometown. It will be the one from Canada issued by RCMP, but at least it will be with the most recent date.you can ask ircc or a consultant about this. because she need everything with the updated results. but you can ask from others as well.
Hi there since I'm applying as an "inland" applicant if we do get a call for an interview, would it be here in Canada? If not, if she leaves Canada for her interview, will she be allowed back in Canada?Yes implied status
hi dear, i am not sure about interview part. apologiesHi there since I'm applying as an "inland" applicant if we do get a call for an interview, would it be here in Canada? If not, if she leaves Canada for her interview, will she be allowed back in Canada?
1) You should definitely get the TRV before you get married. Being married to someone in Canada is a big red flag for getting visitor visas as it shows strong ties to Canada and a higher likelihood of overstaying. Get the TRV first and then get married.Hi folks,
1) I have PR and am getting married in December. After marriage, I'm planning to apply for the visiting VISA for my wife before applying PR. Is it a good Idea? (Sponsorship letter Reason: Honeymoon)
If she gets Visitor VISA, are we allowed to apply for outland application from Canada
2) Is it necessary to have a spouse name on the passport for Visiting VISA and PR?
3) She got the PCC (India) and FBI this month when she is single, Once we get married do we need to get them again?
Your feedback would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
You need to supply police check for every country you live in for 6 month or longer, since 18 years old or the last 10 years, whichever most recentI'm submitting an application for her Criminal Record Check here in our hometown. You're applying for common-law spouse? Personally, I would probably do a visit visa if your trying to reach Canada sooner than later. Pr takes around 12 months and if you file for pr, then apply for visit, they may deny it. Someone with more experience will probably comment soon and give you more insight though. I've received so much help here, I'm really gratefulHi - what a great forum this is! Been reading a lot and trying to gather all necessary info but still have some questions.
Im Dutch and want to move back to Canada with my Canadian boyfriend. We lived in Canada for a year, Holland for a year and are now traveling in Asia.
I'm unsure what the right course of action is here - do I go with him to Canada and apply for inland? So I can be there on a visitor visa while I wait for my open work permit? Is that advisable?
Or is it better to stay in Holland and apply for outland and wait for PR? Or will an open work permit also be faster in this scenario?
Thanks so much in advance!
Yes, the one my wife brought from her home country expired a few days later. So I'm sending out an explanation about this and why we are not able to get a new PCC.You need to supply police check for every country you live in for 6 month or longer, since 18 years old or the last 10 years, whichever most recent
Hope that works for you, but I know they take the ppc very seriously and only want valid ones. I hope it works out for you thoughYes, the one my wife brought from her home country expired a few days later. So I'm sending out an explanation about this and why we are not able to get a new PCC.
