Hello. Is there anyone who got approved pr/copr had the pr card already? Mine is more than 3 months and still not receive yet.

I just got a ghost update right now. I received pre arrival email 4 days ago too.
Do we get ppr after ghost update?
Or was the update something to do with the request documents that i send to them one week ago.

Sounds like it’s a ghost update probably. What was your timeline?

Jan 16 2017 still waiting .

Really upset and tired waiting for PR . 22 months already waiting for PR , can’t wait anymore . No idea why processing take so long . In 6 years never travel outside Canada . Everything is perfect still no idea what they looking which took them 2 years to process . So unlucky and feel so sad .

Some of them who came in 2012 and in same college alredy got citizenship and I am still waiting for PR .

Why PNP applicant process is slower than express entry pls some one can explain that ? express entry application approved within 6 month but PNP applicant approved one year or may be 2 years...?

I have exact same , receive medical request on 21 March 2018 and medical pass on 10 April 2018 , after that no update and no additional documents request . I so tired now waiting for no reason .

Hi. I was filling my BOWP application Form IMM5710e and I need help for the following since I am confused:

1. I am applying for one of the following:
a. apply for a work permit with same employer
b. restore my status as a worker
c. apply for a work permit for the first time or a new employer
d. get a new temporary resident permit (for inadmissible applicants )
I was thinking of picking a or b. I have open PGWP so not sure which answer to pick...

2. What type of work permit you are applying for?
1. Open work permit?
2. Post grad work permit
3. Other
I was thinking if I pick "other" I can write Bridging Work Permit in the next box. Is that right?

Hi Jessica, I did not applied for bridging open work permit but for what I can tell you:
1. you should apply for (a). Not (b) because restore the status is when you loose your status (going out of the country or your work permit is already expired but yours is not this case).
2. Open work permit. Usually when I apply I always add an explanation letter (as supporting document) to describe the situation you are in.
Let me know if I was clear.

criminal record requested on October 22, 2017.
1st MR Feb. 28
Medical done Mar 2 2018
CIC change to MR Not needed Mar 11 2018
2nd MR Mar 12 2018
requested to update schedule A on September 18, 2018

No PPR, No decision made, No updates
just about to lose faith

Received an email from CIC conforming landing appointment at local Canada Place on Nov 02 2018 (Strange)
went there yesterday on the Nov 15 2018 and became a PR

Both ECAS and CIC account changed to complete after landing.

I got my eCAS status changed from In process to Application received. I don't understand why they put me backward , as I have passed my medical and waiting for my PPR. Dose it means my file transfer to LVO . I don't understand what this mean. I applied on Sep 2017.Paper based PNP. Please help me out, anyone knows about this.

your file has been transferred to local visa office.
it will be in process again once they will start working on your file.
same thing happened to me.
