Hi, once my husband got the notice it was dispatched from the embassy he gave them 2 hrs and went to the VAC and with his receipt and I.d. and ask if their is a package for him, and luckily it was just delivered. So once you get the notice and you live near by go check the VAC centre.
Thank you!

My husband picked up his passport today! He got an email last night saying it was ready. His was waiting at the "old" vac on Warner street. He brought an ID and a photocopy of the ID as well (like the letter instructed). Thank you everyone for your help through all of this.

Hi everyone, did anyone from Port of Spain/ Caribbean region after receiving AOR1 and sponsor Approval had their application transferred to the Mexico Visa office instead of the Port of Spain Visa office??? Asking for a friend.

Mine did actually. After AORs, Sponsor Approval, and Medical it went to Mexico. My file was received there on August 8th, 2018. I am a May 7th, 2018 Applicant. I am applying from St.Vincent and the Grenadines.

Oh yes at first i freaked out!!! I wrote Trinidad VAC and the next morning I got a reply from Mexico City VAC confirming that my application is there. I made a few inquiries and one of the reply that stood out is, "Thank you for keeping your inquiries to a minimum". In other words don't bother us too much. I was also told that it is in queue. How long that line-up is? God knows! Ive been reading other blogs and none of them are hopeful in terms of waiting time. It's a slow agonising wait. It is longer than most VAC. So its a big wait. Its really hard on all of us especially the spouses that are on the other end waiting for our arrival.

My husband arrived at Pearson In't Airport on Monday followed the regular routine using the computerized declaration and proceeded to immigration where he present his CoPR and his Passport and was granted entry as a Permanent Resident!! And the best part was told Welcome to Canada :)
To everyone here still waiting on your final decision we wish you all the best and may God grant you'll a speedy completion!
It is a very stressful period but definitely worth it!
