Hahaha, I'm imagining an something like an alcoholics anonymous meeting now. Bunch of PR applicants sitting in a circle, one new member joins and stands up:

"Hi My name is xxx and it's been 170 days since I last applied for Permanent residency"

Other people in group clapping

"I have had the urge to call IRCC and check my application multiple times per day, but the last time I logged on was last week, and since then I just don't have the urge to do it"

Group leader:
"Thanks for sharing your story, it's a tough situation, but we've all been there. Some of us even emailed Ralph after 2 months, and then again a week later to ask why he didn`t respond yet! Just know we're all here to guide you to finish your next steps in life!"

(or something like that, I'm bored at work :D :D )
Hehehehe...I can imagine it perfectly well...now that you’ve painted the picture :D ;)

I have seen people in other threads whose application was approved and some of them received their emails in 1,5 months others just took 2 weeks. So who knows when we will receive ours . Ircc is so unpredictable. At this point I think I will be happy as long as my ppr mail comes within the 6 months timeline. I am just two weeks away from reaching the 6 months mark
I am on the same boat. Approved status for 22 days. 6 month mark in 2 weeks. I hope at least the Ghost visit me one time before the golden email arrives ;) as I am eagerly waiting for him ( Ghost Gate Open).

%age statuses by month as per Immitracker. Based on my past experience on reaction to this post will start with following disclaimer points :D:D
  • Yes the immitracker data may not be accurate. As we all know not everyone updates the data there. But I think it is okay. In practical world decisions are taken everyday based on a sample of a data set.
  • If you feel - “Oh I could list N reasons the data is not the right sample" … well yeah I know that BUT unless someone can give us better data, this is all we have. So let’s make peace with it.
  • Immitracker ignores inactive cases. And yes it does impact %ages. However, I think immitracker is correct in ignoring inactive cases.
  • I stand corrected on above. On 9th October there were a lot of cases which went inactive and hence were messing up the %age trends. I was not tracking active cases on regular basis as the numbers didn't change much. But to keep consistency I have now used active case number as on 21st Sep (as that is the only week I had captured number of active cases)
  • Having said all of above, I think this data can still be used to see trends which are useful. The %ages may not be accurate but overall movement is definitely indicative of progress
  • And lastly, if you disagree just ignore!

  • Another disappointing week for June guys
  • There were big progress on PPRs for July and August guys in the week.

One again hoping next week is better.

Thanks for putting this together as always. Sad June only had a meager 2% (and 1% for March, April & May). Just looking at April gives me the creeps. They progressed 7% in 2 months. Damn...

Seeing april and may makes me wonder if they will ever pick the pace up again, of course it’s worse for june, and even worse with holidays coming :( I’m losing hope of the 6 months mark and I’m curious what kind of answers are previous months getting.

Indeed! Welcome to our ark, NOW ;)
The IP2 Oct 26 date is exactly in line with mine - criminality passed and security not started, same pinch! But good to know you got a super helpful agent the second time. And kudos for your patience in trying till you got through - the wait time and possibility of getting an unhelpful agent make it a rather discouraging process :(
I have the same IP2 date but my AOR is May 19.

@ura already got the PPR today. The last answer is kind of correct. In my GCMS notes which was generated on 8th August, It was written that Primary office is Ottawa and the secondary office is Sydney so when the agent says two offices are working on the file then it sounds logical. May be the initial recommendation part was done in Ottawa and then the Criminality was done in Sydney, now I think the PPR actually will come from Ottawa. We can only speculate and wait. No body can tell for sure what actually the working pattern of IRCC.
Ya i know but tagged him incase he is interested. Hope the 2 offices dont think the other one will send and sit back:eek:
