Thanks newbie132, guess what! I just got my Oath invite by email just now ! Ceremony is on Dec 5th in Mississauga at 9am in the blistering cold, I still can't believe I'm looking at the email, staring at it as if it's not real, not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me, waited for so long not sure whats real and fake any more. at least the end of the tunnel is in sight now ..

I also got my oath invite for Dec 5 today. They started processing my application October 31, I passed the test in March and did not get any updates after that. After the 1 year mark I called in twice and basically figured out nothing got looked at after March. I then contacted my MP on Nov 7 and it seems like they contacted CIC November 8. Since then I got decision made and oath invite so I would recommend contacting your MP, looks they are useful in helping things move along

Congrats! agreed, contacting people in high placed can help at times. Lets hope everyone gets theirs soon enough, this is a nerve wrecking process indeed.

I wish my MP was as helpful as yours ... calling them made no difference for me

Did you go in person? I had to go in and fill out a form to authorize them to contact CIC on my behalf.
