If all goes well in 2 weeks... not sure about timeline though... some stuck in background check for 2 months also...

@SRayhan87 We ordered in gcmsbuddy. They emailed consent form with name of representative and email only. Is that correct? We havent sent back the form with our signature yet. Do they send the request to cic as soon as they receive the signed form?

I think this is IP1. IP2 is “we are processing your background check”. Anyway regardless if IP1 or 1P2, this may not be the actual status. So all we can do is wait, call cic or order notes if you want to know the actual status. Goodluck!

@pizzacat yes, you have to send back that form ASAP with your sign by the blue pen. Just do it what they asked, not more than that. As soon as they get your consent form, they will place your application to IRCC. After 1 day you will be given a confirmation email with IRCC ordered number.
