No my background check was started almost 6 months ago, on 26th november it will be 19 months since i submitted my application.
they do contact employer and also asked me for letter of explanation and bunch of other documents

Which stream are you in? Skilled worker, master stream or international graduate?

What usually happens after ghost update? My ecas stills says in process. Have you guys seen any rejected cases? Will always be worried until getting PPR.

Just called cic..agent said your security check is the only thing which is left otherwise everything else is complete...Aug 16 applicant.....Any idea??

I called them 2 months ago that was the same the agent told me

I guess he meant background check as security check is part of it...whats ur status now...any update...

I just checked GCKey and Ecas. No update so far. Let's see what happen today. Fingers crossed

Mine was req on May 03 and it was sent on May 23...passed on June 1.....so its been a long time...but my friend got his DM on 19 Oct and he applied on July 7th 2017....so I guess its gonna be a month more...
