So true

It's a good thing we have this forum of people in similar situations so we can help each other along and sympathise and try to make the wait easier on ourselves :)

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

Guuuyyyyysss!!!!

You won't believe this..... after all this talk about processing times and updates and what the heck is going on with CIC... miracles of miracles... alhumdulillah just half an hour ago I received the RPRF payment request letter in my account!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

FIVE weeks after MEP with NO UPDATES in-between for ANYTHING!!!! o_O:eek::confused:

I have completed paying for the RPRFs for me and hubby just now, and uploaded the payment receipt through my MyCIC account - it showed as ADR - so now will have to wait and see when ADR status changes to "reviewing additional documents provided"

I guess after that the next looooong nerve-wracking waiting time begins. I don't know if I should be excited or be even more stressed out now....:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O:oops::oops::oops::oops:
Congrats! Now you know your app is progressing. We paid upfront because we read that it will be faster rather tham waiting for it before they proceed again. Anyway, you are getting close!

Hey guys Please share in which city you are going to settle? I have chosen Saint John.
We have chosen Moncton then Fredericton next option. The only thing i remembered about st john in the news before was the flood lol. So we dont want to be there if ever that happens again.

Thanks! :)

At least now I know they checked on our application even if nothing else!

Hoping for the best, but from what I've been reading.... no guarantee that PPR will be anytime soon.

So, back to waiting and stressing :p:D

Like @pizzacat and @SRayhan87 we have chosen Moncton with Fredericton as our 2nd option.
Also looking at a few of the other, smaller towns around these 2 cities and checking transport and living costs, etc. to see which would be the most economically viable until employment happens and beyond that.

Lol. I lile to be prepared.

I don't think so brother.

Remember when we were originally uploading all the docs for PR application, there was no slot for uploading the nomination certificate.
Some of us decided to add the nomination certificate with the LoEs we submitted in the application, some did not

Usually (from the threads and blogs I have read), if you don't submit the certificate at the time of the PR application, they send you an ADR request and ask you to upload the Schedule 4 form and certificate together.
But since you have already done that through CSE, I don't think they will request it again, and probably just update your ADR status

So don't lose hope! If Allah means for us to be in Canada, then in Sha Allah it will happen, and it will happen in Allah's time! Remember, our sense of time is not the same as the Creator's! We just has to keeping asking Him to give us sabr and hold on!

Ameen!

Keep yourself distracted and try not to think about it too much (hard to do, I know! :D) .. do what my hubby and I are doing currently... researching the places and companies in NB for future reference.. and also we have taken up hobbies/interests that require much concentration/attention.. which distracts us from dwelling on the application process! ;) :D

I ordered using gcmsbuddy because they offer pretty decent service with minimum payment. You should use this service as well. Within 2 days i got my confirmation.
Thanks! What will be the date of gcms notes? And you will receive it around 30 days right?
