No PPRs for a long time. I can't wait to get it. Usually, emails are sent right after midnight if you already have DM on your status, right? Or is it possible to get it during the day?

Yes. I got one in March and later in the day I got RCMP request.

When i clicked on view submitted application it was changed after i signed in again it was again like before old pattern n details.. What does this mean?

That's why it's called a ghost update. When you login it usually says "updated" but when you open it there are no visible changes and the status changes back to what it was before. It means CIC updated your file in the background but you won't be able to see what the update is. Just relax and wait.

good question, as those would only send a photocopy of their passport to Ottawa.

Yes, as others would need to send out their passports to get visa, where ppr would be necessary, even if you have COPR

Has someone got PPR after Oct 20. My DM was on OCt 26, still no PPR. What is happening with CIC? Is it just me or there are more people in same situation.

Got DM last October 19. Still havent heard anything from them.
