I hope someone can help me with some answers.
There is a mistake in my marriage certificate that I submitted to Cic.
It should show "divorced " rather it shows "never married " on it.
How can I rectify this issue.
Is this misrepresentation?
Help

What type of application did you submit? Are you trying to sponsor your new spouse? In which country was the certificate issued in?

Your marriage certificate shows "never married" but you are divorced? And you declared a divorce in your personal history documents as part of your submission? And included the divorce certificate?

I would say it's potentially less of an issue if you declared the divorce and shared evidence of it and the only thing that says "never married" is the marriage certificate. If you wrote "never married" on everything but were actually divorced, then there may be an issue.

Just on the certificate. Was a mistake from the registry . I am apply g for spousal
So you have otherwise declared your divorce and included evidence of it (divorce certificate, etc?) CIC's primary issue is when people were married before, divorced, and didn't declare - not people who did declare and then had one document that stated that they weren't married. You may want to call CIC and see what they say.
