Guys

I have a 1 year old son, his B Form is in urdu. We also have Family Registration Certificate (in english) to prove the relationship.
His birth certificate is in English.

Do I need to get B Form translated in English or are FRC and Birth Certificate enough?

Birth certificate if is in English then it’s enough. NADRA Birth certificate has your name as well as your spouse.

In order to prove your relationship with your spouse, your marriage certificate is sufficient if it’s in English. Other wise you have to do translation and get it notarized.

What do people from Pakistan use for Proof of funds?
Banks here only give a bank statement. No mention of other requirements by cic. Do we have an “financial institutions” that give such letters etc?

I have a query...

I have already submitted my application and it has almost been 2 months but I am now very concerned about my Saudi Arabia PCC:-

Firstly they mentioned my place of birth wrong, instead of writing Saudi Arabia, they wrote Pakistan.

Secondly I got the PCC about 2 days earlier before leaving the country, the reason i did that was because Saudi Arabia doesnt provide PCC to non residents hence I had to make sure I get it while I was there. But I explained this in LOE and the reason behind why I got it early.

Thirdly, the PCC mentions that the requesting party for the PCC is Pakistan Embassy. Because as per the procedure I was told that I had to get a letter from my country's embassy, get the letter attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then take it to the Police Station and that is what I did.

Please will these things create an issue??? I am super worried now. Please help!

Do we have to enter education details of matric & F.Sc in EE profile even when we don't have ECA for them? I got my ECA done from IQAS and they only mentioned Bachelor's degree in certificate. What should i do?

I have seen many people filing there applications using PCC issued based on Pakistani embassy letter. I dont think it should be a problem in your case. Lets see if someone else can provide more definite answer.

You don't have to provide a PCC for Saudi Arabia if you're no longer residing there. The cic website has very clear instructions on who should provide the certificate and what is the procedure to get one. I don't think you need to worry about this at all as the one you sent along with the LOE should be more than enough. (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/saudi-arabia.html)

It doesn't matter if the PCC is provided based on Pakistan Embassy request as you are a Pakistani citizen, your other option would have been to follow the guidelines from cic which would require more time and would delay the application. Almost everyone requests the PCC through Pakistan embassy and don't face any issues.

I don't think there's any reason to worry about the PCC especially since 2 months have already passed and the R10 check would have been done by now. You can just try and relax and not overthink as doing so will only create more anxiety for you and nothing else. Your application will be processed normally and you will hopefully get something within the normal processing timeline of 6 months.

Wish you all the best!

bhaiounnnn! specially acca/ca/accounting people plssss help me outttt. im in this mess for a month now.

Im confused between two NOCs , and ive been at it for the past 1 month and cant decide. I've worked for 1 full year fulltime (paid) as a finance assistant at an international organization. The organization is an international non-profit research org that provides grants to public/private sector all over the world.

My job duties were (copied word to word from the reference letter):
.1. Basic bookkeeping
2. Data entry and extraction of financial reports from quickbooks
3. Bank and grants reconciliation
4. Critical review of subgrant financial reports.

Im confused between NOC code 1311 (Accounting technicians & bookkeepers) AND NOC code 1431 (Accounting & related clerks).

Banks can give you a detailed letter as per CIC requirements. I suggest you go and meet your branch manager and ask for the specific letter rather than the standardized account maintenance letter. He will provide you with one. In case otherwise you can escalate the matter to bank zonal manager and even to the head office or lodge a complaint at the SBP.

Guys what about salary slips?
Its 3 years experience. Do i show 2-3 months from each year? Or just last 3 salaries.

Also, a couple of times I got 2 salaries together from the company. Would that be an issue? e.g July and August were paid together in august and the amount being shown in bank statement is double the salary amount. Would that be an issue?

Please guide

Express Entry - Permanent Residents

If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:

  • list of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts, the account numbers, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past six months,
  • list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans,
  • be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address).
Just get these mentioned in the letter.

I believe there is no bank in Pakistan willing to do all this. In case they do, then good to go.

I advise you to ask them to mention:

1- Opeining account date
2- Current balance up to date in Pakistani Rupees and Canadian dollar conversion of equal amount.
3- Account number
4- Your ID (CNIC) number
5- Your full name (include father name)

In addition to this attach your six month bank statements.
