Detailed country list

How important is it to provide a nitty gritty detailed list of countries? E.g. we travelled to Thailand, but stopped in Malaysia for several days on the way in and visited Vietnam on the way out.

So in the calculator, technically we left the country only once, but visited several countries in a single trip. Do I need to put every single country we've visited, or just the main destination?

List your country main destination with the total days absence with main reason (i.e. visiting family, whatever your reason was), then list all the countries you have visited during this time in with the reason column. My spouse for example visited her home country for 3 weeks and while there she entered / left 4 countries during her trip. So we listed all the countries she entered (even if it was only for a couple of hours) visited other than her country in the reason column along with her original reason (visiting family). There were no issues. She got citizenship.

What I did was I listed the country where I stayed for the majority of my stay. So for example I flew to Thailand for 3 weeks but had a 24 hour layover in Abu Dhabi. So, I put Thailand in s the country visited and then put the layover in Abu Dhabi in the comments field.
