Thanks! I've been compulsively checking my email the last couple of days. I was at work and started jumping up and down, haha. Let's hope everybody else's comes quickly.

Quick question for everybody - my partner was here as a visitor. We extended his status in March, which meant that it expired on September 29. We submitted another request for status extension at the beginning of September, but CIC is so far behind that I expect it will be November or December before they get around to processing that. Now that we've received AOR for his PR/OWP application, does he get implied status with OWP? Like if we hear from CIC and they refuse the visitor extension, he's still good because he's waiting for the OWP, right?

Yes, he has implied status.

Now I understood your previous question. Yes, another girl from Quebec had her app received on Oct 3rd and AOR Oct 25th.

Have you tried to access "ecas"? Another girl never received AOR and confirmed on ecas that her app is being processed.

I am the principal applicant. From my understanding it is my spouse, the sponsor, that should check ECAS?
We just did that today, and got nothing.

Just to be sure, I tried it as well since I have a UCI myself from previous permits (the other menu options I don't have). Nothing as well.

You could try to access ecas with you payment receipt and your sponsor information (name, dob and birth place)

Ecas as you said is only for the sponsor, use sponsor's informations.

If people from late October start receiving AOR and I still haven't I'll conclude there is an issue.

Hi! I'm just finalizing my partner's application including the OWP. Quick question if anyone can help - in the IMM5710 Application to Change Conditions, it has a section where you need to provide details of intended work in Canada. Do I need to have something to put in here or do I leave it blank? We haven't pursued employment for him yet because we thought we had to wait for the OWP to come through.

I just don't want to send in this application and they return it as incomplete. Thanks in advance!

Try to stay positive. I have absolutely zero patience, and have been trying to check ECAS with the receipt info and my information (I'm the sponsor) for the last couple of days. I was checking this morning and nothing came up....then at 11:45 I received the AOR. When I logged in to ECAS with the info from the AOR, I saw that they actually started processing our package yesterday.
