Passports to CPC - Ottawa - October 2018

Hi,
We received PPR and sent our passports on October 15th
Passports received on October 17th.
Since then no update and no contact. About 2 weeks passed.
In the meantime, I called CIC by phone several times and asked to talk to an agent, but each time they dropped the call saying all agents are busy.
Should I get panicked? And do you know any other way to contact CIC and get some more information about the current situation?

Is it approved? What does the automatic phone system says?

Did you get approved status in GC key or in CIC phones system?

Is it approved? What does the automatic phone system says?

No, it is not approved yet. Automatic phone says the same as GcKey account - application submitted and they are processing.
However, if I check ECAS it says "decison made"
I guess they don't ask your passports unless you application is approved. But I don't understand why stamping a visa takes that long.

Thanks. But in my case the problem is I still didn't get approved status. And there is no communication, no request for new photos or additional documents whatsoever.

I surely update my status if I get an update. thanks

No clue why they taking so long to send passports back. Before the time frame was only 10 days and now no clue how long they gonna take.

I called CIC last Thursday asking about the return envelope that I forgot to send. They told me it’s no problem the officer uses a regular mail to send COPR and it takes approximately 2 weeks to get it. Although my resident area is currently under the strike by Canada Post I really hope it will come in 2 weeks..
