Passports to CPC - Ottawa - October 2018

I have been following this topic for a while and I thought my status update would be useful.

I reside in US and used FedEx overnight shipping. It is expensive but I don't want to take any chance with our passports.

PPR Mail: 4th Oct
Passports sent to Ottawa :15th Oct
Passports received to CPC- Ottawa: 16th Oct
Application Approved: 24th Oct
Return Label Activated: 29 Oct
Expected Return Delivery: 30 Oct

As i forgot to take the tracking number of my return mail, i called CIC and they provided me with the number and pp was sent back today.

Finally received approval! I learned that by calling CIC, waiting for 40minutes and talking to an agent. If you call now you may talk to a real person.
Passports sent: October 15th
Passports received: October 17th
Approval: October 30th
Waiting for the return of the passports.

Passport sends back information on Canada Post: Send back on October 23, 6:51PM
Delivery Date: Delivered - October 30, 14:29 pm (using 7 days from Ottawa to Toronto)

Hope you guys get passports back as soon as possible!!

yap i called the Canada Post hotline this morning and there will be a delay for mail. My tracker does not have the expected delivery date, meaning it will take a while. Hope our passports won't get lost.
