I was googling trying to figure out why, before I received assurances from you all about 24 hours. I saw some people saying you had to do the job bank, but I had read also on CICNews that the job bank was optional now.

As long as my CRS is higher than the cutoff and the application says I'm eligible for FSW, I should be good to go, right?

when I calculated from all the draws of 2018, the total number is 74,450 ITAs.

Is the CRS cutoff going up and up due to all the PNPs lately? Do we expect it to descend back into the 430's before the end of the year? I'm relatively new to all of this. I just started with IELTS prep in June and the IELTS in July. I waited to get my PCC, IELTS, and WES before entering EE.

I have everything scanned in 600 dpi color just waiting. (Except for my proof of work experience which I'm not looking forward to asking for.)

CIC might conduct back to back draws now that the year is coming to an end and they want to reach their yearly targets...if that happens, there is a chance the cut off might go lower.

454 as posted above. I was just wondering for others, since it's quite odd to see the CRS going higher and higher as the year goes on, based on previous years that I've researched (2016 and 2017). I'm hoping I get an invite today.

No, ITA does not equal number of immigrants. The target you have posted is for everybody including spouses and children.
The amount of ITA they need depends on the amount of wasted ITA and on the average family size.

Pnp worth 600 points so they should be above 600. So people in between 451-600 it’s because of language and their education..

Do not blame PNP for the CRS increase:
PNP have their separate target (so CIC does count with certain amount of PNP applicants). If there were no PNP, the draw sizes would be smaller resulting into same (or maybe even higher) required score.

Do not blame PNP for the 451-600 category. They simply do not belong there. All of them are in the 600+

What is happening is simple, people have finally understood that they need to increase their score instead of waiting for it to come down. So a simple competition is happening.
Just to put you into perspective - somebody with Master or 2 university diplomas and CBL 9+ on a one language + 3 years of work experience and below 30 years, can easily score 460+.
And that is all without any bonuses like Canadian education / work experience, siblings or French.

So there is no surprise why so many can suddenly have 450+

Yes thats what Im trying to get at. The numbers posted in the article are for the number of immigrants admitted to Canada. Not the number of ITAs.
