What documents do I have to submit again my credit cards? I have a credit card and since I couldn't pay off the outstanding due, my card has been blocked, however I am now paying minimum due for last few mnths. Will this cause cancellation of my PR?
I'll br really grateful for

Just pay off your credit card if you can. Easiest solution, then don't need to mention anything about it.

If you can't for some reason, then get a letter from the credit card issuer mentioning the outstanding amount. The amount you are showing for proof of funds will have to cover this debt i.e. your funds - credit card debt should be greater than required funds amount.

Don't mention credit cards at all.
  • list outstanding debts such as credit card debts and loans
What about their statement (above)?
I have read in many threads you dont have to mention Credit Cards, but wouldn't that be exactly the opposite of what they're asking?

They have no way of finding out about credit card debt.

But what if CIC find out abt it? It is not possible for me to pay off the whole amount soon. So exactly 'what' letter should I ask the bank to provide.

Thanks

Your main account (where you are keeping your funds) along with a statement for the past 6 months should suffice

Thanks a lot, but what I am worried is what if CIC find out abt it then my application may be cancelled asthey expect us to be transparent completely.

If they find out it is missinterpretation. I cannot tell you what to do, but, the way banking system works, they can hardly find out

I am not aware of how this works, but I guess it should be difficult for anyone to get info from every bank in the world
CIBIL maintains a credit score of all Indians. When you request a loan from a bank, they get a report from CIBIL. You can also personally order them if you want to review your credit worthiness. The report is extremely comprehensive with details of every loan and every payment towards the loan you have made, and has the late payments & outstanding amounts marked.

Isn't this information easily available from CIBIL report?
Ok. So this is a credit score and it is limited in some countries. We have similar here (not in Canada) too. I dont know how detailed the report is, but reading it out is just like CRS, the higher, the better
Low
Yeah, I saw India was on the CIBIL covered countries (mine wasnt). In that case, the risk for hiding information would be too high.
I would not recommend doing that in any case btw
