If an applicants security check have not started (according to GCMS) but some pages were redacted. Does it imply SS? And I have also read that if an applicant with dependent did not include the spouses authorization when the GCMS was ordered, that some of the spouses information will be redacted. Can you guys explain: @bimale4bipeople, Montreal coordinator, @cansha ,etc please respond. Thanks!!!
The trend is if you have ACTIVITY 1-3 or 4 as blank and the 4 or 5 one as Security then all the likelyhood is that one maybe is is in SS

I got a new GCMS note yesterday. This time, Activity 1, 3, 5, 6 were not redacted while 2 and 4 were. Activity 3 is security and 5 is criminality both of which have not started. Compared to my previous note, Activity 1, 3, and 6 were redacted while 2,4, and 5 were not. Activity 2 was security and 4 was criminality both of which weren't started as at then.

What do you guys think?

I do not think this is related to SS

I got ADR for bio pages, height etc on 5 Oct. I went to ip2 the same day. Nothing after that.

Is this adr generated after security or before it?

Hi all,

AOR - April 19th
No update since Medical Passed - April 27th
CEC inland with one spouse
Ordered gcms note on Sept 19th and received on Oct 23rd.
I think it is funny that I see last update on it being May 1st. Seems like nobody has touched my application since then.

Eligibility: Review required (Case Analyst Recommendation: Spouse's NOC Code does not match Job Description)
Criminality: Passed
Security: Not Started

Primary VO Office: Ottawa
Secondary: Vegreville, AB

Case Analyst seems to be from Vegreville, AB office. The comments from Case Analyst were that the NOC Code does not match with job description. I have worked as Project Coordinator (NOC # 1221), but I understand why someone would have questions about job descriptions. Because I was part of IT team, the descriptions are tailored to IT Project Manger sort of role. If you look at Job Description that may not be aligned to Project Coordinator, but title does reflect accurate NOC Code.

Is there anything can be done here? Do I just wait for them to come back to me or be proactive and somehow be able to change my NOC Code?

Thanks

Yes I have
Unfortunately they don’t give any importance to job title. This is a tough one. Personally I would have chosen the IT NOC code just to avoid confusion but I see your point and I think what you did is correct. I think write a LOE and upload it via CSE. These analysts review 100s of job descriptions and we can’t expect them to know everything. But he is not the decision maker on this and hence tagged it for review. Provide a LOE and it should be okay

I agree. Analyst is just doing their job. I was in a real dilemma when choosing NOC Code, but with combination of job description and job title, I thought it would make sense because of job title as well as some job description matches to coordinator position. But well, it is what it is. I believe VO would be objective about NOC Code. Even if I change it, they are both part of either NOC A or B. I will try and submit LOW through CSE. Hope to end this with approval at the end.

Thanks for your help.

Guys, I received my 2nd GCMS yesterday. As at the first GCMS note, there was no eligibility evaluation but this time, my eligibility was done in Montreal. According to the case analyst, my eligibility was recommended for a review. Funny enough, the case analyst stated:
Recommendation: Review Required Summary Note: FSW Points for work experience dropped from 11 to 9 as PA has 1 yr and 8 months from Primary NOC. PA still meets the requirement. Client appear to meet all requirements.

The funny thing about the case analyst is that I claimed just 1 year of work experience. Besides, 1 yr and 2 yrs work experience have the same points. So, I don't see how the work experience dropped from 11 to 9. For my work history, I filled in my IT experience which was 1 yr and 8 months (Primary NOC), my 2 research assistant jobs during my MSc (total of 1yr and 1 month according to the case analyst calculations) and my current teaching assistant (TA) job in Canada (No points was awarded as he/she claimed there wasn't any job description whereas there was). Actually, this TA job in Canada was just to clearly inform CIC of my full work history and not for point purposes. The analyst now flagged the teaching assistant position for additional review whereas he/she already acknowledge that I still met the requirements.

I just don't feel bothered that much as I think am good to know. But I don't know the consequences of the review required in my file. Whether Montreal have where they dump files with review required. Am not sure! What is disturbing me is why the analyst still wants a review while my 1 yr and 8 months Primary NOC is more than enough.

Please your advise will be appreciated. And please what is the scaling of work experience?

I am an April 20 AOR stuck in a funny weird review required scenario just like yours. In my case the agent was overzealous and reviewed an old profile which I withdrew instead of my current one !!!

Do you know the agent ID from the review ? Does it start with PK03 ?? Just to know if it's the same mad man who makes these weird reviews.
