USA residents seem to get their PPR around 54-55 day mark these days, however I am still stuck on IP1 :(. My AOR is 25th August, MEP passed 18 th September and no update after that. Maybe single applicants are getting their PPRs faster because they just have to do the background check for one person. I am applying for me and my spouse. But then I have seen cases on August tracker getting ppr even if they are applying for 2-3 people, so not sure whats up.
Don't worry. I haven't seen any change post medical yet! o_Oo_O

Does anyone know the current processing time for the Bridging Open Work permit? When i was applying on 23rd of August i was told it was around 55 days. It's been 60 days and there is no update. Anyone else waiting on BOWP like i do or anyone know the processing times for it? Thanks
The processing time has increased to 66 days now. Even my boyfriend is still waiting for his - he applied on 26 Aug.

No need to worry, as long as you applied your expired work permit will be valid till they make a decision on it. It would be nice to get PPR before they make any decision and get a refund on the BOWP lol

So I know time will tell and I have to be patient...but I am curious about a couple of things.

So when does your file actually get transferred to the local visa office ?
Does it go to it for the final stage of proccessing even if it is not a residency processing visa office ie they only do visitors visas etc.or does it go to a CPC in that case?
How would you know if it has actually been transferred to the LVO? Can you call the LVO and check?

So only 2 months? I thought the website said about 6 months. Are you applying from Canada? Maybe you traveled a lot?

Sometimes it's for final processing and sometimes for the entire process after completeness and recommendation checks. Mine is already at an LVO.

Sometimes you get an email, sometimes you don't and find out through a CSE response.

Single guy here, August 23rd is my AOR with no dependents and I am also waiting. Hit my 60 days now. Still stuck in ip2. Where a coworker of mine got it in 7 weeks with his wife. He was CEC as well.
Yeah not sure what their criteria is, maybe it depends on the local visa office.

Hi there,

I am an inland CEC applicant.

I received an email asking for police clearance with fingerprints from Canada.

Anyone else get this request?

I am also a CEC applicant. My lawyer asked me to do that beforehand, even though i have been living in canada for 6 years now. If i understood you correctly we are talking about RCMP record from Canada and also one from your home country. When you apply for the RCMP they take your photo and fingerprints and the papers take approximately a week to be delivered to your address.

Thats exactly what i have been told by my friends who become canadian citizens and also lawyers as well. It all depends on where your profile is being processed at. All you can do is to provide the documents as clearly as you can and wait as patiently as you can it seems. Although i can't help myself from checking my mail and profile 5-6 times a day.
