The interview went ok. The women according to my wife was pleasant to deal but she is a smart and tough cookie. After almost 2 hours getting asked all sorts of questions she was told absolutely nothing in regards to her application and they would let her know.

Though I will tell you that, the following day she received her Pre Arrival Services email, the next day her background check started, and today she got Decision Made. InShaAllah, her passport request is just around the corner.

All in all almost 11 months passed since we submitted the application and it wasn’t too bad of a wait. Though I do feel bad for many newly married couples that are about to embark on their journey in life together, but I feel Canada truly needs to streamline this process and get couples together quicker. It’s ridiculous people need to wait such a long time, but I guess patience is a lesson in life and we just need to learn how to adapt to it in today’s society. I wish all you guys a quick reunion with your significant others.

I have passed the interview 3 weeks earlier and had to redo the medical so just after 3 weeks they sent me a letter to come with my passeport and two photos they will give the details of how to take them and after you get to the visa office I found that there are about 30 peoples and you handle them the passeports and everyone is waiting watching a video about Canada and after a couple of hours they start to call and give you a file with your passport PR confirmation and you leave

He had his interview on September 17th and tried to do the medical that day but was unable as he couldn't get an appointment with any doctors. He completed his medical on the 21st of September. He didn't get a paper that shows he did all the tests. We had to call the doctor to ensure there were no issues and that he sent the medical tests to the VO in Rabat. I think as long as the doctor was on their list of approved doctors and you had the tests done, you will be fine. Call the doctor to see what he/she says about this. Usually though, they send the results directly to the VO...there is nothing you need to do except for taking the tests.

It is true you do not need to take anything back to the embassy after you are done the tests the doctor send them through medical.. it is my doctor who confused me with that form and after I asked what should I do with it he told me to take it back to the embassy which was not the case..

Bwy everyone if they request the photos make sure they are same measures they ask for, if they are not you have to redo them it is not a big deal as I had to redo them
They gave me at the embassy an adress to a place where I can redo them correctly
It is better to make sure they are what they ask for, that would save you the taxis and time..

Hello Guys!
I just want to ask a quick question.
My application sent November 21th 2017, January 26th 2018 got AOR.
Medical done and they received it.
Application started in process April 27th VO Rabat Morocco. Since that I haven't heard from them. Is that normal?

Did you get 'Decision Made' on Ecas a few days after interview? And was it 3 weeks you waited after decision made? Or was this delay all due to the expired medical? My wife got 'Decision Made' on Ecas almost now 1 week ago. And still no emails or anything. I hope we don't have to wait 3 more weeks.

That's awesome! I'm so happy for you both. My husband just heard back from the embassy after his medical check and has resubmitted his updated Passport to them and is waiting for them to schedule a time to pick up his file and visa....likely next week at some point. I'm glad this process is almost complete. Good luck to everyone on their journey!! Angeldust, I hope you hear something very soon! You've been waiting way too long.

Yeah, that's perfectly normal. They don't update your file online very often, if ever. You hear from them when they need additional information from you. I've gone 6 months or more before they requested more proof of contact or updated police check. So, don't worry if you don't get regular updates from them.

Guys, I need your help,I’m March 16 2018applicant.on oct 10th 2018 I have received an email from rabat for more supporting documents which I submitted 2 days ago. Do you have An idea how long still to have another update and what wil be that. Every info based on your experience would be much appreciated
