Has anyone done their Police Clearance Certificate from Malaysia?

Hi,
I have applied online from e-consular for GCG Malaysia and received confirmation email from them.
Any idea how long does it take to for the status to be updated?
I spoke to a representative at Malaysian consulate here over the phone, they said I need to upload only new passport although my malaysian visa was on expired passport

Yes, only new passport is necessary even if your visa was on a previous one.
I applied 5 weeks ago and today it finally showed "Certificate ready for collection".
I'm going to the embassy tomorrow to pay the rm20.

Yeah only a couple of months ago people were getting it in under 3 weeks, but for some reason they have updated the processing time to 1-2 months now.

2 weeks only..yeah upload the new one if they say so.. I also did,, I guess both..dont remember now.

Why didnt you apply before receiving the ITA? I applied for it in Feb, last year, and got it within 3 weeks.

Thank God, I applied for all remaining PCCs earlier this month, and have received one, while other 2 will be ready in 2-3 days. Malaysian PCC is valid until I visit Malaysia again, which I have no plans to. So..gonna submit my application as soon as I get these last 2 PCCs. Can't wait.

Yeah I didnt know that before about the validity of Malaysia PCC. Lets hope it doesn't eat up much of the time.

hii I have also applied for a pcc on New passport but after 2 days in 20 Sep it's showing on process but it's already 1 month complete and it's still showing in process any idea how much time it will take I am very confuse kindley help me out

Kindley help me when I will get it i am checking daily it's showing in process it's already 1 month complete today and 1 more question when i will have to visit embessy at the time of once it will show ready for collection certificate or in a mid if it's showing on process plz help me

It can take up to 2 months. It took 5 weeks for me. When it says ready for collection then you go to the embassy.

I got PCC from Malaysia but it doesn't mention my passport number or the period of stay... is this acceptable by cic?

Did you inform this to your local malaysia consulate?
I believe if it mentions full name it should be ok, but just confirm with the consulate.
How long did it take you to get the PCC?
