Has anyone done their Police Clearance Certificate from Malaysia?

My brother got CGC from Malaysian consulate general in Singapore. The whole process just took 2-3 weeks.. Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has become quite efficient, I have heard..I couldn't submit my application due to some other missing documents though again waiting for ITA.
By the way, I didn't send them any letter from CIC to show that I have the ITA and I need the CGC for immigration. I hope mine is still valid for Canada and IRCC accepts it when I submit it after the next ITA.

I also got PCC from Malaysia, and I didn't submit anything from CIC.

As for validity, as long as you don't currently live in there or haven't visited Malaysia after your PCC was issued, you don't have to worry about it and can still use your old PCC.

Malaysia provides PCC only for people staying 1+ year here, since you were here only for 10 months , you dont need it . Same is acknowledged by Canada

however if you still want to go ahead and apply ...
Below is the process
1. Go to http://www.kln.gov.my/web/guest/home
2. Click on the e-consular option (avl on right side)
3. Create a log in account
4. Once you log in, click on the “Application for Certificate of Good Conduct” option
5. Fill in all required information and upload a photograph
6. Click submit
7. Save acknowledge slip as it is mandatory for collecting CGC
8. Approx time line is 20-25 days

( My Personal thought : PCC is for the time when you were in a particular country ,so it should be done on the passport valid for that period and since you have renewed your passport after leaving Malaysia, It is not possible for Malaysia foreign ministry to have info of same and therefore not feasible to issue PCC on new passport )

Plz refer my earlier post, ...It will take 20-25 days...no tracking ...it will only have 4 stages.
Application submitted ( should be there from first 2-4 days)
In process ( will be there for next 18-22 days)
certificate ready for collection( might be there on any day after 20 days of submission)
Completed ( once you collect certificate)

Dont wait for mail , keep checking your status and visit embassy as soon status changes to "certificate ready for collection" take ack slip and processing fees ( it's 20 MYR here , plz check required amount in local currency)

I have applied online from e-consular for GCG Malaysia and received confirmation email from them.
Any idea how long does it take to for the status to be updated?
I spoke to a representative at Malaysian consulate here over the phone, they said I need to upload only new passport although my malaysian visa was on expired passport
