It is true, some posts on here make people worry but sooner or later we will all be Canadian citizens.

Btw did anybody see the special ceremony they had yesterday on top of the CN Tower? They had about 7-8 people swear the Oath while they were doing the edge walk, i thought it was super cool!
Yeah, it was fun. Now they are sunburnt celebrities. Wish they had beer in one hand, Lol

in a couple of days you'd be able to do a proper follow up at least. Let's see what happens then. One more week for me as well till I hit 12 months.
I am still not sure if I want to follow up yet , since I have a work assignment in November and won’t be in Canada for over a month - if I remind them next week, I am afraid they’d schedule something during that time, because that’s the only way they can screw me even further lol

Done with oath in Mississauga.

Very smooth process. Invited time was 9 am but due to traffic i reached around 9:15 am. It was still fine as their was a line where people were submitting media release form, pr cards and were told their seat numbers.

Overall ceremony took less than two hours and we were out of room by 11 am.

No other documents were asked (example, copr, passport etc).

At the end, we took pictures with MP and the Judge. We can apply for passports after 48 hours.

Very proud moment.

To those, who are waiting for tests/oath, have patience. Live your life and you will move forward. Dont put you life on hold as it is not in your control. Becoming a citizen changes nothing except for your voting and mobility right. Rest remains the same.

All the best everyone.

It may be a good idea to call them and let them know. Even if they schedule something during that time, you can always get it rescheduled.

Done with Oath today :):)

It was scheduled at 9 am, i reached the venue at 8:55 am.
Everything went really smooth and whole ceremony was over by 11 am.
People in charge were really helpful and all information was provided in very professional manner.
It was a great experience.

My best wishes to everyone who're waiting for their turn. :):):)
