I am a little bit worried about Medical exam though.
I have diabetes which might be considered as an extensive cost for the Canadian government.
However, I have read that this factor is being waived for the people applying under Family Sponsorship, so they might refuse only if my health condition is a danger to the public
Does anybody know if it is true?

It is written under the * at the bottom

Thank you for the info. Do you possibly know if they normally ask for any additional tests?

No just the diabetes extra blood test that you would pay the $23 for and the other necessary test HIV, urine and the normal doctor check up you have nothing to working about diabetes is not a disease do yout good it just means that the blood test you have to pay for

This the letter it clearly states 1500 on bottom . could it be possible its a typo?

I think its a typo. As you can clearly see in the third paragraph, you are supposed to pay 255 but paid 100. Thus remaining 155 so I will advise calling them to rectify the issue but am 100% sure is 155, not 1550.

I recieved a medical request. However, it was for only one of my kids, and I myself wasn't on the request. Has anyone else experienced this?

So my open work permit was returned because i missed the $155.00 and only paid $100.00 Do i resubmit a whole new application or use the same one that they refused?
