This is the approved Permanent Residents number by month for Jan 2025 and Feb 2025 as shared by Monthly updates by IRCC, by province for the Family - Spouse and Partner both Inland and Outland. The IRCC Plan 2025-2027 states for 2025 there will be between 65000 to 70000 approved PRs in this category for 2025. Which translates roughly to about 5500 a month which will be approved. The spaces available are capped at around 5500 a month, so the eCOPRs have to wait for the next subsequent calendar months where they do it month over month to reach those numbers outlines in the overall plan by category. In Summary P1 and P2 are quick but eCOPRs are delayed by opening up of spots as outlined in the immigration plan, so there is a backlog. |
